Su lays her head in her mother's lap ignoring any protests. She lifts her wrist, removing the metal links so defined by her loving son and adoring husband. " Baatar and Junior made this for me." She states, draping the soft metal across her calloused hands. "They made it without any bending at all. the detail was so meticulous.. I thought.." suyin trails off biting her lip. "I really do love him so, mom."

    She’d almost forgotten how it felt, this closeness to her children. Toph had been very touchy-feely with her girls when they were growing up, but it had been decades since either of them had lain on her like this. A small smile graces her lips, and some of the lines on her face smooth as she does so.

    “ Oh good, considering you married the guy, ” Toph jokes, stroking her daughter’s hair like no time has passed at all. She reaches for the item in Suyin’s hands, curious and wanting to inspect the work herself.

    Toph slapped an arm around her daughter’s shoulders, replying “ love you too, baby girl ” immediately. Then she grew quiet for a moment, one eyebrow quirked in amused curiosity.

    Her hold tightened.

    “ What’d you do this time? ”

su's hair is much akin to huans when she wakes up.... but she and Lin always make fun of one another....
