This isn't to be snarky and this isn't to dissuade you from asking me for help. I love helping, it's why I'm here. But I hate going through the FC help tag and seeing the same question 30 times- if you want to ask a question and get a zillion results, ask Google.
Anyway, here's every piece of FC help I have to offer. If you still need FC help after all this, then we can talk.
Help me find a FC who fits ____________ personality
1. Any FC can play any personality.
2. Figure out your character's age (or, in the case of characters who look young/old for their age, figure out the age they appear to be).
3. Subtract that number from the current year (i.e. 2014-36=1978).
4. Google "celebrities born in [insert year here]. See what kinds of lists come up- you'll usually get at least one from wiki and one from IMDB.
5. Write down the names of anyone who looks promising, even if they don't quite ~inspire~ you just yet. If you don't find ~the one~ through this search, you can also try googling adjacent years- celebrities born in 1975, '76, '77, '79, '80- until you find someone who works.
6. If you still can't find someone, then ask a helper.
This is the exact process I use for all FC help questions I get that aren't specifically Korean (I wrote a guide on choosing Korean FCs here). If you do this yourself you can save yourself the trouble of having to go through me to get to Google. Pretty nifty, right?
Can you find me a FC for the elementary-school or younger aged child of...?
Unless the kid's been on 'Hello Baby' then nope. Do you really need a FC for your character's three year old, though? I mean... really???
Can you help me find a family member for...?
Same method as the first entry- google the year of birth and go from there. Personally, I think the RP community cares wayyyyyyyyy too much about finding FCs who look "related". As long as the race is right (or as close as you can get to right), don't sweat it too much. They're just FCs, it's the writing that matters.
What personality fits _________ FC?
This one.
I need a character who has played ___________ type of character.
Any. FC. Can. Play. Any. Character. I heard about a person who literally played Yang Yoseob as Satan. If Yoseob can be a FC for Satan, anyone can be a FC for any personality. Focus more on the writing and character development than on the gifs and graphics. grumbles about how IN MY DAY WE DIDN'T HAVE FCs OR GIF CHATS AND WE WALKED TEN MILES IN THE SNOW BOTH WAYS TO OUR LAPTOPS
