Work. Work. Work. That’s was what Pepper Potts’s life was. Work. That’s not necessary true. She used to make plans at times, but with everything going on in her life now she works to avoid it. There was some irony in that. She used to tell Tony constantly that distractions weren’t healthy. Now look? Third night in the office. She was a hypocrite with some matters and Virginia knew it, but would never own up to it. She was human. She wasn’t perfect like Tony used to say. She had flaws and felt just as much pain as anyone else.

"Make sure to have the plaza reserved-" she stopped speaking to her current business partner, feeling a wave of dizziness hit her. The three sleepless nights and only eating two salads in the span of two days hit her hard. She collapsed on the floor, exhaustion caving in on her.
She woke up to Happy wiping a wet towel over her face. After doing the I’m fine banter she promised Happy to go see a doctor. She didn’t want to make an appointment with a normal doctor, word got around fast and she personally didn’t want others knowing she worked herself to the ground. There was really only one person she could count on.
She walked up to Bruce’s apartment, sucking on her bottom lip. "I should have called." she thought for a moment before knocking on the door
