Doing an Induction at a new Gym tomorrow and the PT that's doing it with me is called Issac Newton.
Accidentally used my Parade Ground Voice™️ at work last night and scared the shit out of my staff and the customers.
A lot of change at a place of work of mine atm.
Tonight a staff member was stressed while burdened with a trainee when they needed more staff.
Another member of staff out drinking took offense to this.
Our new venue manager feels like crap for not doing a better job.
Me trying to mediate between them all that they're all doing their best in the "Storming" part of building a team and that hiccups and problems no matter how small or big are normal and that no one is specifically in the wrong but maybe everyone should stop taking all this impersonal stuff personally.
Be a prize, not a collectable.
Yooo so my tattooist snapped this without me noticing the other day when we were working on more of my WTNV/H.P Lovecraft/Sleep Token inspired sleeve/chest piece.
And fuck I love it.
Things I didn't want to inherit from my parents but did.
Cluster Headaches.
I for some reason only get mild ones which I'm glad of, my mum would get them so bad she would for all practical purposes go blind with the severity and pain.
I dont get them frequently but it's usually over 2-3 days and usually pretty clockwork for what times they start, 5-6pm, 1-2am and then they stick around for anywhere from 15 mins to a few hours.
Snagged a free $1000 inflatable paddleboard because my works supplier sent us it last year as a competition prize that not one single customer signed up for.
So now I own a paddleboard.... as we go into winter 🤘
"You never seem this energetic and out the gate off shift, your so quiet and calm when you've been in for a drink or food or whatever"
Yes, Sharron I know. That's because I'm an introvert who works as a bartender. I literally bounce around the bar like a maniac, chugging red bulls and flirting with anything that moves and serving 3 or four people at a time, all while keeping up three conversations and giving at least 5 people meaningful eye contact as they eye bang me across the bar, as I make a mental list of what I need to restock or shout at my barback to restock.
I leave that energy at the door when I leave work, where it belongs.
