okay but like i just now found out (from a multitude of skin care videos sksksk) that so many people, SOOOO many people, don’t use make up wipes or even a cleansing oil before they wash their face. like ik that most cleansers remove dirt and makeup but like if you’re wearing a full face🤔. and the people that do, in the videos, use make up wipes or a cleansing oil call it double cleansing. sksksksk its prolly the right term for it, but ya girl just thinks it’s removing make up. like i’ll only be wearing concealer and i’ll have to use a make up wipes and then face wash. idk, i just thought it was weird cause i grew up thinking that literally everybody used make up wipes. comment what yalls do
Hey everyone, my lovely state of Utah has just signed a bill that legalizes “free-range parenting” and lemme tell you I am very confused
“The bill, which Gov. Gary Herbert announced Friday that he'd signed, specifies that it isn't neglectful to let kids do things alone like travel to school, explore a playground or stay in the car.”
Honestly, I know where these people are coming from, the outside world is dangerous! This is all understandable. But it’s also good to foster independence so it’s good we’re signing this bill.
“Utah lawmakers said they were prompted to pass the law after seeing other states where parents had been investigated and in some cases had their children temporarily removed when people reported seeing kids playing basketball in their yards or walking to school alone.”
Wait, what?? Kids aren’t allowed to play basketball in their own backyards? If that’s the case then my parents should have been reported like 20 years ago for doing things way worse like letting my sisters get themselves to school and back by bus and for letting me play outside in the schools playground everyday back in elementary school...
(Note from my mother: “What does ‘free-range’ parenting even mean? It sounds like cattle, ‘free-range cows’!”)
