I hope that in another 4 years, hoyoverse releases the 30th draft of the flamechasers' story
#hsr#honkai star rail#altho tbh. i think amphoreas is already as good as it can get#hi3's iteration had some parts glossed over#some parts that hit less hard than they otherwise would hv bc of the format#and of course having to force-fit pre-existing PE characters#the way every amphoreas character was key for the plot development and that many had crucial thematic ties#is craaazy#amphoreas was so tightly woven its insane#i know the writers spent the years since hi3's flamechase journey just thinking abt it and reworking it#to the point of tearing down some chars to essentially new ones#its so good.... like. pardo and cipher clearly both follow the path of elation in a sense bc theyre ostensibly whimsical and all that#and their cores abt wanting to be heros somehow are the same#but theyre VERY different people#cyrene also really grew into herself#while clearly carrying all of elysia's core themes. and all the same msgs that the hi3 writers originally wanted to impart to us
