hmmmmmm actually i hate qin su as sweet but dumb characterizations i think
#untamed stuff#like i know that all it takes to get our boy#to be ride-or-die#is to be nice to him in public one (1) time#but like#he was pretty persistent!#he did a lot of work to get his father and qin cangye to come around!#looking at the timeline you can even argue that killing nmj was almost#a condition#of his father's permission#and yes having qin cangye as a father in law was useful but like#idk i don't see him doing that much#and lets be honest risking that much#for someone he wasn't extremely into#and idk i feel like there needs to be more to her than sweet#to justify that kind of effort#tbh i feel like optimal qin su characterization#is her like#picking up on the Situation between jgy and madam jin#and masterfully putting herself in between them without madam jin#even realizing what's happening#just whenever she's got her sights on jgy#qin su materializes and oh jin furen is this embroidery new? it's so intricate!#and then she like winks over her shoulder at him#as she steers madam jin away to have a nice chat :)#like i NEED qin su to be politically savvy or i just don't get it
