Heya Merle Highchurch. You fellas do good work here, I really appreciate it. If possible I'd like a tarot reading regarding my relationships with my kids (taako, magnus, lup, barry), and maybe something about my relationships w G, J, and D?
Merle! Aaaa you calling them your kids is so sweet? But yes of course you get a can get a reading. I think I’ll draw a card or two for each so it might get a little bit long but here we go!
Taako: The Hermit. You were definitely a sort of father figure to him, and tried to help him learn to be more self aware and be his own person or deal with feeling alone. In turn he saw you as a pretty chill and wise dude.
Magnus: Ace of swords. This is a really pretty card in this deck, I don’t think I’ve pulled it before in years of using this deck actually. You helped Magnus find clarity, I think, and you were one of the people who gave him strength. I’d say he looked up to you and cared about you a lot.
Lup: Knight of rods reversed and knight of swords reversed. You moved too slow for Lup. She got frustrated with how chill you were sometimes, because she was prone to act first and let the plan take care of itself where you might rather think things through first. You kept her from acting too impulsively on the feelings of the moment, and you kept her from burning herself out, which was likely a good thing but she certainly didn’t always like it.
Barry: Page of pentacles reversed and the high priestess reversed. Barry wasn’t always sure you had your priorities straight. He thought your focus was sometimes a little off, and maybe you were too idealistic. Still, sometimes you helped him remember that he needed to listen to his intuition and not be so introspective, and that was likely a big help to him.
Lots of face cards (knights and pages) and high arcana, you were definitely a source of strength for everyone, not just Magnus.
G: The star. The star is a card that suggests emotional fulfillment. It’s a card that indicates hope, and faith and love. Whoever this was, you two had a really good relationship that brought good feelings for both of you.
J: Two of cups. This is usually a romantic card, but it can also rarely mean a close partnership of some other kind. It’s a card of sharing ideas and emotions, good open heartfelt exchanges, mutual feelings and deeply valuing one another.
D: Two of wands. This is a scholarly card, and a card of passionate learning and planning. Whoever this is, you two may have worked together a lot? This card indicates this is a person you had a great time exploring ideas with. It was a really rewarding relationship I’d wager.
