I believe that Wilson Bethel’s Bullseye/Benjamin Poindexter has the potential to be the Bucky Barnes of the street level heros.
Like Buck, he knows he is suffering, he try to get away with all that, he wants to put himself together, even with his psychotic events, his borderline personality.
However, this is going to need extremely serious good writing within it, there are many parts of his story that need fill in. And despite compared to Bucky Barnes, in Dex’s case, I don’t want him to turn good. With Buck, he has Cap and Sam, believing him, trusting him, supporting him real actions. But how about Buck without all these helps, or maybe even, with all the helps there is still no turning point.
Like many people said, Dex is actually very similar to Matt, but he kept drowning and drowning, I want to see that. In S2 or hopefully if there is a S3, I want Dex to finally get to the fork of the road where there is no turning point, where he finally becomes the joker for Daredevil.
Also, did nobody really question who arranged the surgery for Dex to have adamantium injected into his spine? Did no one feel curious about that? Everything after Fisk slamming his back on to the wall, to the surgery, to him in a mental facility, to Vanessa getting him out, to him killing Foggy, to him being pushed down the building, to him transferred to gen pop, there are many plot lines that need to get fill in, and I really hope we can get that.
