jobs I think the cast would have if they weren’t detectives:
-yuma: author. he has some gripping monologues, and detective novels are one of his likes. with how prone to trouble he is, he’d have a lot of good situations to draw from to write stuff
-shinigami: housewife. but she’d sell illegally harvested corpses to med students on the side to make $$$
-yakou: he’d probably stay at the bar but that’s lame. maybe like a firefighter cause he loves helping people and he’d think it would help him win ladies (it does)
-fubuki: adventurer!!!!!! she was also so good as a waitress. she would love the rainforest café or some sort of themed restaurant
-halara: a vet. I think they could tolerate injured animals because they wanna help them. and that pays good enough for their tastes
-desuhiko: business major who becomes a salaryman. still plays music on the side, but it’s been hard to get gigs since the allegations….
-vivia: barista. librarian. something low effort. does in fact regularly fight in underground rings and one of his coworkers sees him but no one else believes them
-aphex: 🏀🏀🏀🏀
-zilch (real): some sort of wildlife preserve or zoo thing
-zilch (fake): CEO of animal testing and cruelty
-pucci: unemployed. she gets into discourse on tumblr and TikTok all day and lives like Portland polycule. okay fine she’d be a classical musician
-melami: model! I could see her posing for a tanning mag or some harajuku stuff
-zange: retired, part time grocery store clerk who always regales you with excessively long stories and complains about the high tech self checkout
