I really hate this, you know.

And you know I only hate the things GOD hates.

So why do we prolong earnest reconciliation?

You falsley cited my own "betrayal,"

As reason enough to pull away,

Then stabbed me in the back,

& Left me to rot in a shallow grave.

Now I see you recycling the same 'tudes,

I have come accustomed to over the years,

And dancing the same steps with other men,

Like hurting yourself will let you get back at me,

But HE pushes me forward through my tears-

& so I am ever-immortal, as GOD wills.

I cannot be conquered or killed by such things.

Still you sought to transform & change my ills

'Till your convicted conscience cut the strings.

So I am left frayed, hanging gangly & green

-Left to mourn such love lost between hearts

And so I will be renewed in spirit once again

-Rightly sailing off on my own second winds.

Because you've grown so cold to me,

Even pompous, and snooty like a queen bee.
