Also I got a thought while at work.
A random wizard character has spent years coming up with a spell that gives them the ability to do whatever they want. Their goal is to warp fate to their desire so they can chase their dreams and live a life of luxury and success.
... but instead it fixes the chemical imbalance in their brain and cures their ADHD, and they no longer have to fight executive dysfunction to get things done.
Like spending years coming up with a single spell.
Now they can come up with new spells much faster and are selling the spell book for a lot of profit, which in turn is making them very successful.
