Hello! Since you’re up for talking, I was wondering : do you have any fluffy fiveya headcanons? And I hope you have a nice day!
Hello! This is a wonderful question, thank you for asking! These are more whole scenarios than simple fluffy headcanons lol. Sorry, as usual I wrote a lot! I hope you’ll have a nice day too.
Anyway, in a perfect world where they are finally able to be together, physically at the same age and happy:
Vanya likes to dance. Five likes to dance with Vanya. So, in the privacy of their apartment they dance together. Sometimes Vanya starts dancing at the rhythm of some random pop songs, looks at Five with mirth in her eyes and convinces him to join her with a simple smile. Five allows himself to be goofy and bounces around their living room together, because it if makes Vanya happy he is happy too. Sometimes, it is Five who starts. He puts some old songs from the ‘50s on the portable stereo speakers of Vanya’s smartphone, probably “This I Swear” by The Skyliners because he is a corny old man (Vanya thinks he is sweet). He takes her hands, dragging her away from whatever she is doing (who cares about washing the dishes, Vanya!) and holds her in his arms for a slow dance. She loves it.
Vanya decides Five needs to catch up with decades worthy of movies, so the Fridays’ movie nights begin. Five doesn’t mind spending a couple of hours snuggling with Vanya on their sofa, usually after eating some delivery food (he missed pizzas in the Apocalypse). If the movie is boring Five would just focus on Vanya’s commentary and enjoy the sound of her voice (because in the Apocalypse, silence was the worst of his torments). When the movie is about time travel Five snorts every five minutes and demolishes the nonsense of their physics with snarky comments (That’s linear algebra, you idiot! What are you gonna do with eigenvalues? Where are we, in kindergarden?). Vanya laughs every time.
Five has bad days every now and then, especially around the day he left his family to attempt his first-time travel. When those days come, he never leaves their bed and almost loses touch with reality. He keeps thinking “what if this is all a sweet dream and I’ll wake up in the waste of the apocalypse?” Vanya usually stays with him in those occasion. She lays on the bed and hugs him tight with her tiny body, just like they used to do when they were children. She talks gently about mundane things to remind him that everything they have now is real: like their last zoom call with Allison and Luther who now live in LA to stay near Claire, the party they had last week to celebrate Klaus’ third year of full sobriety and Diego’s promotion as detective, the new books Ben recommended them to read, their plan to travel to Italy next summer and eat more gelato than they can digest. Then Five always comes back and kiss her softly, to feel alive and real again.
They like having walks. The simple gestures like holding hands while strolling through the city’s streets or parks, talking about everything and nothing, sharing takeaway coffee and laughing at each other stupid jokes are blessings.
When Vanya has nightmares about the Apocalypse she provokes in a day that never happened, she usually wakes up and cries for all the live she ended and the devastation she created. It didn’t happen, not in this restored timeline where things worked out and they were able to heal her. However, on nights like those, she remembers that Doomsday did happen for a lost 13 years old boy who remained trapped in hell because of her. Five is always awake in those moments and when Vanya stops crying, he takes her in his arms and strokes her hair. Vanya mumurs “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry” over and over again, until Five tells her that she shouldn’t be sorry at all. He left her first. “But now I am here, we are together.” He usually says “And I’m spending my whole life with you, Vanya.” Vanya believes him.
Five loves listening Vanya playing her violin. He doesn’t know all the composers or names of the pieces, but he has his favourites. Vanya often plays them for him, especially because he never makes requests.
Vanya loves listening Five’s heart beating. At night she often lays with her ear on his chest and listens. It’s her favourite lullaby.
Five kisses her whenever and wherever. The trickiest ones are the small, sweet, pecks he gives her when they are among other people (People may not see but ghosts do, Klaus told him once. Five doesn’t care if dead or alive see them to be honest).
When Five mumbles fervently in obscure math jargon for a whole day and forgets to eat, she usually stops him with just a very passionate kiss. Then she gives him a mug of hot chocolate or his favourite sandwich, making sure he takes a rest until next morning.
Five makes breakfast for Vanya every day. Vanya makes him coffee every time he is working (on math). They always prepare dinner together.
