🚬 tries to learn spanish and/or your respective african/caribbean language (half parroting what you say while following you around the house, half “how do i say this?”/“hey what’s this in _?”)
🦋 jeffrey learns your dialect of your natal languages specifically, bc he loves learning as much as he can about your culture and heritage and is really enthusiastic about it ☹️
🚬 teaching him how to dance (not professional dance lessons, just a little bit of whatever genre you’re listening/grooving to at that moment; dancehall, traditional afro-dance, salsa/bachata, and so on)

🎧 you didn’t speak much in the beginning, but he didn’t push you to as he himself could be very quiet from time to time
♾️ when verbal communication is too much for the both of you, your days are spent in silence and you communicate with doodles (pen + notepad) or with your phones (texting)
🎧 the first time you let him touch your head/hair he was very sweet and careful, not putting too much pressure or touching your scalp
♾️ he doesn’t push for physical contact at all and is instead very present and attentive so that when you do feel comfortable enough to initiate physical contact and lean on him/hold his hand, jeffrey is as accommodating as possible (empty clean hands, no artificial scents or such things that could make you uncomfortable)
🎧 when a shutdown happens he gives you complete and total space, lets you come out of it in your own time, he doesn’t approach you/reach out until you come out of it yourself
