realizing i don't necessarily get on takumi's case just for having a savior complex, i get on his case because he's bad at it. is clouded by sentiment half the time (having the kill eito routes as much as he does). has it be saving the perosn he thinks he knows, rather than who they actually are (holy shit does this come up with nozomi sssso fucking often). like it makes sense for. that he's a child soldier programmed with propaganda. he wasn't really built to reach out to people, he was built to exterminate them. but man if it doesn't mean he can do some generational fumbles saviorwise.
