Isaac is a selkie. When Stiles accidentally calls him up with his tears, he doesn't expect Scott and Stiles to ask him to stay for a while. He certainly doesn't expect to become such a big part of their life.

Seven tears into the ocean to call a male selkie, seven tears from an unhappy wife. That’s what the legends say. All legends have a bit of truth in them. This one is mostly true, the only part that isn’t, is that the tears need to be from an unhappy wife. You don’t have to be a woman, or even married, for it to work. Just crying and be attracted to men.

6.  “Is there a reason you’re naked in my bed?” + stiles/isaac/scott

When they back into the room (literally back, as Scott’s back is facing the room at large and Stiles is kind of… busy) and flip on the lights, the last thing they expect to see is someone already in the bed.

Stiles stops kissing Scott, abruptly, and turns his attention to the matter at hand. Scott, although begrudgingly, does the same, peering cautiously at the lump underneath the blankets. “Is your roommate home?” Scott mumbles, reaching his hand out to grab Stiles’s.

They both glance at the other, emptier bed. Stiles shakes his head. “Nah,” he says. “Even when he’s drunk, Boyd wants nothing to do with me. He wouldn’t crawl into my bed, that’s for sure.” He frowns and walks to the closet, reaching in and fishing around until he finds what he wants.

Scott’s eyes widen almost comically. “You are not going to poke it with Boyd’s lacrosse stick,” he says dubiously, but Stiles just grins cheekily.

“Watch me,” he says, before brandishing the stick like a sword and whacking the lump on the bed.

It yelps and scrambles underneath the blankets before abruptly throwing them off. It’s a dude - a very naked dude. Scott immediately shields his eyes and Stiles immediately leers. (Two very different gut instincts.)

The guy looks between them, his cheeks darkening and his hand reaching out to pull their blanket back over his, erm, lower half. “Hi,” he says meekly.

And though he still has his eyes covered with one hand, Scott waves in the general direction of the guy with the other. “Hi,” he says.

Rolling his eyes, Stiles reaches out and wraps his arm around Scott’s waist. “Babe, we all have the same parts. Plus, he’s covered. You’re good.”

Scott gingerly lowers his hand, wincing at himself when his eyes go automatically to the guy’s crotch. Stiles laughs and the guy looks away, almost shyly, as if they hadn’t already seen his downstairs. “Not to ruin this excellent time I’m having,” Stiles says, “but is there a reason you’re naked in my bed?”

The guy opens his mouth to answer, but Scott cuts in. “Wait, I know you!” he says, almost excitedly. “You’re in my human sexuality class. Lahey, right?”

If possible, the dude’s cheeks get even ruddier. “Isaac,” he confirms, nodding. “And I would really appreciate it if you guys don’t, like, beat the crap out of me.”

Stiles and Scott echange a glance. “Dude,” Scott says. “We wouldn’t do that - ”

“Without waiting for an explanation,” Stiles adds. Scott glares at him, but Stiles just shrugs. He really wants to hear the story. Sue him.

Isaac sighs and runs his hand through his hair, which is curly and messy and, Stiles grimaces as he thinks it, adorable. “I - look, I went out with my friend Allison last night. She’d promised she’d get me home alright, but when we got - well, here, I remembered that I’d forgotten my key and my room mate was out of town. So Allison picked the lock.” He shrugs, wincing. “I realize now she probably got the wrong dorm.”

“Probably,” Stiles agrees, smirking.

Scott jabs him in the side with his elbow. He ignores the yelp of indignation and smiles warmly at Isaac. “Well, we’ll help you get home if you need it,” he offers sincerely, and it makes Stiles warm inside. Scott’s always sincere.

Isaac frowns up at them. “You’re not mad?” he asks.

“No, dude,” Scott says, waving him off. “Honest mistake.”

“But…” he trails off, glancing at where Stiles arm rests around Scott’s waist. It makes Stiles really self-aware, for some reason, and he shifts back and forth on his heels and debates whether or not to remove his arm before deciding against it. “I clearly interrupted something. Sorry.”

Stiles snorts. “Are you kidding? Hitting you with a lacrosse stick was probably the best part of my night.” Scott pinches him on the arm, but it’s pretty much worth it to see Isaac’s boyish smile and charming blush.

“Well, I’ll get out of your hair then,” Isaac says. Stiles almost blurts out something stupid, like wait, no, stay, and he glances at Scott, who’s nodding but frowning.

Isaac dresses and they send him on his way, the door shutting behind him. When he’s been gone for about ten seconds, the room feels empty all of a sudden. Stiles sighs and leans back against the door and Scott sits on the creeky bed.

There’s a long stretch of silence in which Stiles studies Scott and wonders whether or not he should breach the subject. Maybe it was just him. Or maybe it was in his imagination. (Lord knows he has a vivid imagination sometimes.) Maybe he was just thinking he saw Scott looking at Isaac with that same dewey-eyed look he gave Stiles when they first met.

Just as he’s about decided to throw the idea away, Scott blurts out, “Are you thinking what I’m thinking?”

Stiles blinks. “That guy was super hot?” he offers. Scott nods. “And charming?” Another nod. “And cute? And, not to mention, super hot? Like - like sculpted by angels hot?” Nod, nod, nod. “We want to ask him out?”

That makes Scott pause, glancing up at him. “I don’t know,” he says honestly. Scott’s always honest. “I liked him. Did you?”

“He was alright.” Understatement. Huge understatement. Scott seems to get that.

Scott nods, his mouth tight-lipped. And then he smiles. “He really was hot, wasn’t he?”

Pushing off the door, Stiles says, “Yep, yes, absolutely. Just as hot as you. And you’re, like, super hot, so really.” Scott laughs and Stiles sits next to him, grabbing his hand absentmindedly. “So, do you want to ask him, or should I?”

There’s a brief pause and then Scott says, decidedly, “Both.”

Stiles laughs and Scott leans his head on his shoulder. They’re quiet for a while and Stiles murmurs, “Well, good things always come in threes, I guess.”

Soooo what's the ship name for Isaac/Scott/Stiles? McLaheyinski? Isciles? McLahinski? Stisaacall? Isasciles? Scilesaac?

It works somehow when they’ve all been taught that it shouldn’t. Scott watching with bright eyes, darting forward every so often to show Isaac where Stiles is sensitive. Isaac’s tongue in Stiles’ mouth, his hand moving through Scott’s hair.

*chinhands* I would love to reply more to this, but I am actually pretty tired right now. But yes, this is good thoughts.

But Stiles reaches out quickly, snagging the hem of Scott’s shirt and tugging him over. Scott isn’t sure what to make of it so he just stands there awkwardly. Isaac, still mouthing at Stiles’ neck, glances up. Suddenly he moves - grabbing Scott and pulling him forward, creating a pile of flailing limbs and some helpless laughter from Stiles.

It's only when Scott has tumbled between them that he and Isaac can kiss like they mean it, when their lips meet easily and without hesitation. Scott whispers encouragement and suggestions. They're his private show -- up close and personal, a private dedication to the affection they share for each other. If sometimes it gets to be so much that Scott has to lean forward to steal tastes of it, that's good too; Stiles and Isaac are more than happy to share, to give to Scott in turn the kind of love he allows them to experience.
