My Counsel works to bring Judgment to the stouthearted, who defy the Lord God and are not righteous. Yet the salvation of the Lord is also declared, flowing out of his mercy for Zion and Israel. We find herein again the truth that during Judgment Gods mercy and redemption are not far away. But the Lord working to redeem Israel, even amidst judgment on them and some seventy years in captivity will not thwart the purpose to which the Lord is committed.

My Counsel is directly referring to #Jehovah in this purposeful declaration. For he it is who called the end from the beginning. He is the #ancientofDays and there is no one else. Amid #Isaiahs writings, we again find that the #Counsel of the #Lord shall stand.
