RUSTY BITTE

Rusty is Soft and Rounded, but is very strong under all that. Has freckles and of course some rust (it makes his joints ache on certain days). He's also got top surgery scars! Cause he's trans!! (trans rusty is canon. to me.)

All in all he's probably one of the best characters to hug (he's also very warm so he's even more huggable).

Okay so, I must know… what’s Sebastian like? Is he a pathetic little man (affectionate) like Alfred or is he different 🤔

He definitely has Pathetic Little Man™️ tendencies, he's just more in Denial about them than Alfred. He's quite sure of his own competency (and to an extent, he IS very competent. Alibori wouldn't have him as an assistant if he was a bumbling idiot), but he can be quite cowardly when things get too real (re: him screaming and bolting out of the room almost IMMEDIATELY upon seeing Herbert. which, I mean, fair.)

I initially made Sebastian to be kind of a mirror for Alfred, actually. There's definitely some similarities between them, mostly in how their relationships are with their respective professors. Sebastian is also pretty in awe of Alibori's knowledge, and definitely looks up to him as a mentor figure. But whereas Alfred is willing to challenge Abronsius's ideas (him refusing to stake Krolock, him insisting that vampires have feelings (in the original German production at least...RIP to this line being cut out)) and methods (how frustrated he seems to get when Abronsius gets side-tracked from saving Sarah), Sebastian...isn't. He doesn't ever question Alibori, either openly or privately. Which, of course, is another reason why Alibori's kept him on as his assistant. He doesn't want someone who'll challenge him, he wants someone who'll do as he says.

On the surface, Sebastian seems like a "better" version of Alfred (he's more put-together, he's more confident and charismatic), but he lacks the things that end up making Alfred strong.

Or at least he does currently! Who knows, maybe that'll change in the future!
