That’s good news!!! You are doing something productive IRL, I’m so happy for you yay!!! So you’re busy and working hard… :D Yeah totally agree re: Show. Nothing seems interesting for next season so far… cannot work up any enthusiasm. Yeah JA seems to have run out of fucks to give lol, he still somewhat tries to be diplomatic but def grumpier than usual this year LOL. Also I need to get a twitter. Is that where all the cool kids are these days? <3

well there was a new unkillable type of monster out there, im sure they bumped into them same as they did with seals, or in 5.02, etc. Then too there was a dude saying he was god on TV, that sounds like smth up their valley…

True. I forgot about the dude saying he was god on TV lmao, that might have been a slight tip off. I guess S7 seemed more like, the monsters were infiltrating society in a covert way, and not in a flashy big scale way where things were falling out of the sky? It is comparable with the seals though, hmm. I guess in S4 it still felt like the other hunters were very involved, and were also actively trying to stop the Apocalypse in their own way (like all those people trying to hunt down Sam)... and by S7 there was just noone else around anymore, so it’s kinda easy to forget about them. You make a good point though. Hmmm.

Hmmm I really didn’t like Season 7 and never rewatched, so not remembering all the details... Did the other hunters ever know about the Leviathans though? And I guess when it happened they just exploded out of Cas, like, fairly locally, and wasn’t an epic big scale thing everyone would have seen, so might not have fit with the gifset? Benefit of the doubt and all that, but yeah... the screw ups are definitely not just coming from the Winchesters.

remember when u got in that debate with bp in one of my post about how s5 was already dubious in this sense? now it's so much worse

I don’t scrutinize the recent seasons the way I did during Kripke era, I used to pick apart every detail since I actually had expectations at that point. I’m hanging on by a thread and just watching for Dean and I expect sooooooo little these days, AND EVEN THEN SO MUCH DISAPPOINTMENT! WHYYYYYYYYY :’(

looking at that post, i feel like saying: yay self pity bc apparently no one else is going to give a fuck. u feel bad for u dean.

“Self-pitying asshole”?!!?!!?!! WTF?!! The show used to be sooo from Sam’s side, he was the more important protagonist, I feel like the newer people don’t rewatch the earlier seasons as much, so they just forgot. Dean’s storylines were to further Sam’s plot, that’s why the lessons he had to learn were always about how he should love/support Sam better, and everyone he meets tells him so. Kripke was constantly defending himself to fandom for what he did with Dean. And that OP used MISSOURI of all people to prove her point?! The person who started that trend of side characters treating Sam kindly, while Dean gets all the tough love?! I wish I could find all the class metas written about that episode. 

Gonna stop there before I launch into a 10000 word rant. Jfc! *bitter deangirling intensfies*

I delete a TON of these... :/ But there’s always an extra batch once in a while when I voice a controversial opinion and it gets reblogged to certain parts of fandom lol. Oh well. *hugs back*

While they wasted time doing this, I had a lovely weekend watching Ultron and biking around to a bunch of wineries, so there’s that? :D haha

yeahhhh, john created this fiction of kid dean as sort of a junior-size adult that both sam and dean were raised with, so it comes back to their distorted "normal." When i see it in fandom, it's like there's this surface acknowledgement of the idea of dean existing as a child, but underneath there's a current of… because he experienced horrible things and was treated in ways children shouldn't be, he stopped being really a child.

Hmmm I see people hating this line on my dash, and I get very EDG about most things, but surprisingly this line didn't bother me? I just took it to be a joke, like that time Sam suggested selling the car and Dean threatened to kill three generations of Sams lol... It seems pretty typical of brothers annoying each other to me, like, touch my things and I'll kick your ass kinda thing, yano? I'm sure there are stans making an issue of this, that this is somehow symbolic of control and brotherly inequality, so in terms of causing fandom drama, maybe rolling my eyes a bit? But the actual line itself didn't bother me, and I didn't consider it to be contradicting previous canon since ofc we all know Dean isn't going to ACTUALLY kill Sam for stinking up his car haha.
