Natural Borderlings 👁🌿
Chapter 1 Borderlings that aren't didn't get as much attention as the others, but I enjoy making these.
Sometimes, you can't please everyone, and there's no way to improve on the design. A possum based off of roadkill? Fine with me. A gooey creature inspired off of mob mentality? Fine in my book (pun intended). My passion project is just about drawing weird monsters for fun and making ghost stories out of them.
A flowering vine Borderling idea that was inspired by a small, white rose I found on a ground. Ideas just come unexpectedly.
An announcement to the void.
Two least favorite Borderling designs are going to be remade soon: The Glucovermiling and the Marmoraling (full-body art)!
Aftomotuslings the Roadkill Borderlings
The Aftomotuslings take an appearance of any car model of that timeline, constantly evolving every decade. For instance, the Aftomotuslings were more angular in shape in the late 1990s, with features becoming more rounded in the 2010s and thereon. The common colors of their carapace are red, blue, black, and white, and rarely come in colors such as green, yellow, and orange. Their rodentlike shape is vaguely noticeable of any specific animal. Their midsection consists of the same rubber as a car tire, along with the symbiotic worms that wriggle and crawl inside their hollow bodies. Because of the tire mark pattern on their loose midsection, along with the worms that resemble entrails, the Aftomotuslings give an overall appearance of roadkill coming back to life.
Rupovestiling, the Dirty Rag Borderling
The Rupovestilings are small, furry Borderlings with long, pointed snouts and can be mistakened as possums by many, until striped of their dirt-caked clothing. Their bodies are lean with clawed hands and feet. Their tails differ with each Borderling, manifesting with a ropelike tail or a small, bushy one. The jaws are immense, lined with sharp, pointed teeth. Their needle-like teeth can pierce soft tissue but not hard items such as stone and metal.
Although dyed in the fabric, the eye prints on the Rupovestilings' ragged clothes can blink and move around. They act as working eyes for the body, giving it almost 360 degrees of vision.
Witnesses should never unclothe a Ruppvestiling! Witnesses stipping the Borderling from their rags will soon feel dread and guilt for days straight, at least 3 to 4 days. Water melts the Borderlings into mud; all the years of dirt consumption makes them what they eat. They are also known as 'Dumpster Freaks,' as they love rummaging in trash.
Seen in packs of 4 to 6, the Rupovestilings gather together in tight groups in the middle of the night, wary of any threats they encounter. They search for cars and any other automobile left outside that haven't been washed, dirt thinly caked and ready to be eaten. The Borderlings messily lick the filth with their long, black tongues, but they never lick anything clean. Pawprints and tongue marks are seen the next day.
Observe them at a moderate distance with clean clothes. They're attracted to dirt, their primary diet. They might absorb the nutrients of those who the Rupovestiling eats. If pursued, throw a baseball-sized ball of mud at the Borderling, and it will become distracted. Having an unclean tenant or roommate will also attract hungry Rupovestilings.
With no preference of time and location before dusk, the Rupovestilings can manifest anywhere, but only with the criteria of a dirty wardrobe or automobile. Signs of their existence are dirty pawprints where the Borderlings are. Harsh chattering can be heard nearby. Wash your cars and laundry before nightfall, so you won't attract this species of Borderling. If they're interested in the dirty possessions outside, they will come into your home at any time, unexpectedly.
Claustronoctiling, the Boogeyman Borderling
The Claustronoctilings are dark humanoid Borderlings. They can shift their skeletal and muscular anatomy to appear like that of large deer's.
Their hunched gait further portrays them as imposing. It also applies to its quadruped deer form, amplifying their twisted appearance. Wisps of smoke occasionally fly and curl from their bodies. Their black fur and tails move independently, writhing like tentacles. Charred points are where their hooves should've been. The antlers and spinal protrusions consist of the same chalky material. Their two pairs of eyes glow as if they're burning lanterns. A single giant sac grows from their backs, connected to the back of their necks. Their blood is pitch-black, and touching it will cause horrendous auditory hallucinations. One can hear the screams and cries all around them for at least an hour, possibly from the victims the Claustronoctilings have eaten during their visit on Earth.
