Extremely excited about the Japanese baby sunscreens that just came in. I hope they don't cause any irritation.
I've been mineral sunscreen exclusive since my son got a bad rash from some chemical sunscreen that was supposed to be specifically for babies and sensitive skin. He got big red welts all over his skin. So, I'm hopeful and optimistic about asian chemical sunscreens, while also a little nervous.
The two samples of two different Korean sunscreen brands that my son and I tried today are extremely nice. Super light, no white cast. Felt like nothing, maybe a light moisturizer. I even measured out 1/4tsp for my face and neck. I felt a very mild burning after applying mine that went away after maybe 5-10 minutes. Sometimes lately my skin has been weird, though. And I had no eye irritation whatsoever, which is almost unheard of. My son had no ill effects at all, he just didn't like the smell lol
Anyway, my other package should be here in a couple weeks, hopefully, and I can try a couple more brands. I'm feeling so optimistic 😌
