Scarlet stared in astonishment at the stranger then giggled and waved. “Hello!” Her fingers slowly moved before she rested her hand down again. “Please do tell me you’re not lost.. It’s never any fun when people get lost out here. Nonetheless, I can always help you out of the forest too. I know where every trail leads.” She chuckled nervously. “My name’s Scarlet, by the way! What’s yours?”

Lau heard the clank of the alley entrance door as it was opened and the heavy thud as it shut soon after. He exhaled a puff of smoke and lifted his eyelids to peer towards the entrance, but the haze of smoke that filled the room prevented him from seeing the newcomer. His eyes swept around the room at the outlines of clients reclining on sofas. His hand reached out to his side to touch Ran-Mao and alert her of a new visitor, but found her absent. His brow furrowed for a moment before he remembered that she was off to ‘collect’ payment that was long overdue. His eyes slid shut once more and he stretched languidly as the sound of footsteps became more prominent. They stopped in front of the throne-like sofa that he was sitting on. He put an unassuming smile on his face for his visitor, though his eyes remained closed.

“Welcome. Is there something that you wish to find here?”

Astharoshe opened her eyes and looked around her room “I can’t get any fucking sleep these days..” the noble thought to her self. Slipping on a robe over her night dress she got out of bed and turned on a small lamp. “Might as well occupy my mind while it’s awake..” she mumbled to herself as she got out an old sketch pad and pencil. Drawing was a hobby no one except those close to her knew she had. She opened the book and began to draw out the shape of a face. Astha was a decent artist and it was a hobby that calmed her down and relaxed her mind.

- - The day had began beautifully. Sunny, birds chirping and a cozy breeze that would make anyone inhale and...release. Yet nature changed her mind and the day became cooler, more breeze and rainy. The birds weren't singing their lullabies, the breeze was harsh and the pouring rain was cold like ice.

This wasn't good. Especially for a young, petite girl who's body is far more fragile then a flower's stem.

She was in no rush though. She preferred dark days like these, or at least she thinks they are this way. Her mother once explained how a sunny day would look like, and how a rainy day seemed like. Dark, scary at times. But for Shitsumei, rainy days were the most fascinating.

She walked passed a few buildings, making her way back to her home before her attention was caught by the sound of footsteps behind her. They were boots, heavy boots splashing the water that accumulated with each step they took. That brought her heart into a complete stop. Her body stopped and so did the footsteps. He was following her. He? Yes, heavy sounding, must be a he, indeed.

"Where are you going, gorgeous? Come and let daddy give you a little taste." said the male voice behind her. She tended and closed her eyes, she knew what he wanted and she was scared.

"L..Leave me alone. Stop following me." she managed to murmur, continuing her way passed a few people. Fast paced.

"Hey, mama.. Where are you going?" he asked again, teasing, following her like a hungry predator. He followed until he was able to sneak her into an alley. His hand covering her cute little mouth as his free arm wrapped around her waist.

The Slaves of a King [[ Closed Rp For i-serve-only-one ]]

Masrur had been enslaved from his village, when he was a small toddler. He had no idea what ever happened to his family. Were they killed or enslaved as well? He never knew, and he would probably never know. He was sold immediately to the Reim Colosseum as the Gladiator. He was conditioned from then on to believe he was lower than everyone else because of his race. He was a Fanalis. He was a monster because he was stronger, faster, and had enhanced smelling, hearing, and seeing.

 He killed countless fellow slaves and criminals for the people’s entertainment. His master was a cruel criminal, who loved to whip him with his specialized whip with glass at the tip to increase scarring and pain. He lived in a cage underneath the Colosseum, always chained in ball leg shackles and a collar around his neck.

He became famous for being undefeated. He was an excellent swordsman and better at hand to hand combat. The fact that such a killer was obedient made his value sore. He was being sold, along with his master’s whip, to a king of another country as a gift for their peace. He was transported in chains and a cage on a cart to the other country.

  His master attached a chain to his collar and was leading him inside. His hands were chained behind his back and he kept his head bowed low. The king and his head slave were waiting to receive the gift after the signing of the treaty. Masrur was lead into the room and bowed, his numerous scars all hidden underneath his old clothes. His master holding his leash. “Sire, we are here to present you with this gift from Reim. The undefeated Fanalis, a killer, a monster! Yet, he will serve you like no other. I made sure of that since he was young.” His master grins proudly. “I also am giving you this custom whip. It has been used on this animal since he was a toddler! Trust me...” His master forces his head up, roughly. “He will be a great pet to you, I assure you.”
