lmao I actually love the doppelganger storylines this season. I ws a bit upset about ~fate, but then again Qetsiyah herself might not be the most reliable narrator, so I tend to believe in compatible personality types rather than fate XD
but I'd also like incubus Matt. Or dead Matt. And definitely dead Jeremy *bitter* (and/or alive!Jenna)
I don't mind the Qetsiyah and Silas storyline-it's actually a very good one. What I'm annoyed with is the canon rewrites. Like Tatia was the original doppelganger just last season, killed by Esther and the doppelganger curse carried on through only her bloodline. And that's why they look alike, because they're related and it's the same damn curse. But now, none of that matters, because Amara was the original doppelganger and apparently it didn't matter if she didn't have kids because nature made a shadow self that would always be born (even though Amara was made human again and killed, thus negating a reason for a shadow self).
It just seems like a contradictory way to make the story extra twisty while ignoring their own previously established canon. AND YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL ABOUT CANON REWRITES ON THE SHOW! (Bad writing, actually not even bad writing, confusing and unfocused writing).
