❛ oh, elsa! ❜ anna clasped her hands over her mouth at the sight of such a precious thing. ❛ it's so cute! ❜ she slowly reached out her hand to touch the fluffball wrapped in her sister's arms, but before she could pet the sweet thing, the realization hit her. ❛ wait, h-how? where did you find this kitten? I mean this place is big enough and I'm sure we could figure this out- oh! and we could each spend time with this kitten or it could be yours, you did find it after all and- ❜ she stopped to take a breath or at the look in her sister's eyes that she recognized oh so well -- you're rambling. she took a breath and gently placed a finger on quite possibly, the softest thing she had ever touched.

A soft breath of astonished air left the Queen's lips as she looked over the cliffside, watching the swollen river collide against the rocks, surging forward with immense force.

"And to think, a great and terrible dam was here before. If our grandfather was here right now I'd...I'd...." Anna made a fist, pounding it into her palm wanting nothing more than to rant and rage against the utter betrayal of the past. But she calmed her senses and turned to her sister with a hopeful gaze. "It's in the past now though. We have so much to look forward to in the future. Speaking of the future; You gotta help me come up with a Christmas present for Kristoff 'cause I'm at a total loss on what to get him next month!"

he had found the perfect cave covered with vines and overgrowth that he had made his own little space in for when he made trips to arendelle. it had been easier than camping out in the woods with no shelter or no hiding places. this was easier and well hidden or so he thought.

fingers reach for the vines as he scans the area to check for any signs of life before he heads inside. a sigh is exhaled as he stretches and is about to plop down to start a fire when his eyes lock on to a figure in the shadows and he is left startled. ❝ hey! who are you, and what are you doing here? ❞

he had made it to arendelle a few hours before dark, making sure to stop and grab a bite before his next heist. an orb and scepter inside the palace with his name on it. he couldn't wait to get his hands on them. a few weeks before he had scoured for a few nights to find the best time before heading off to the southern isles for some unfinished business.

at last he was back and ready for his prize. his movements are quiet throughout the forest behind the beautiful palace as he makes his way towards a side door that he had deemed obtainable. he is quick to hide behind the trees causing a ruffle in the leaves as he sees a figure emerging from the doorway. shit, he was sure no one used this door before. he remains in the shadows waiting to see what the other does as he attempts to plan his next move. if that door is unattainable then there must be another way. he worked too hard to get here to have nothing to show for it.

Sue him, he was bored while they were out on patrol. Also having just met, he couldn't think of a better way to break the figurative ice than with a few, most likely terrible, bird jokes. At least something that Keigo hoped would possibly get some sort of conversation going. One that wasn't just awkward small talk. Or until something happened that actually needed his attention and he couldn't handle by simply sending out his feathers to take care of it.
