Hi! You're probably the only one I know that has watched the cdrama A Love So Beautiful, but did you know that there's a Korean adaptation coming at the end of December (simulcast via Netflix)? I am both excited and nervous because I ADORED ALSB.

ahhhhh yes it’s legit my favorite cdrama (although i can’t say i’ve watched too many) im excited!! i’ve seen the teasers and they look cute. but i agree that im nervous like i love the original soooo much and i don’t want to be let down by it hhhh

Hi! Saw your post about cdrama recs in the Love o2o tag? Pretty Li Hui Zhen [cdrama version of She was Pretty] & When a Snail Falls in Love [mystery romance] are pretty good contemporary cdramas. Oh also if you liked the main couple in Love o2o you might like the short ad/movie they did it's on youtube [use search words: jasmine yang yang zheng shuang, should be the first vid in the results].

I’ve seen a lot for When A Snail Falls in Love on my dash but I was given the warning that there is a lot of violence against women in it and I have a difficult time with that. It’s been on my maybe list for awhile but I’ll give it more thought ^^;;

I’m a little curious how the remake works going from kdrama to cdrama. I didn’t watch She was Pretty but I did watch Scarlet Heart Ryeo and it was interesting to see what the writer thought was the important parts of the story versus what I had heard about the original (I haven’t watched it ^^;;;) One day I might do a real comparison between two dramas from two different countries ^^:;;

There is a small romance hinted for one pair, a flirtation between the main and one girl, but no actual romance story is front and centered. If anything it's about the survival of this group in a building. There are connections formed within the group but romance I believe is very much back burner.

Back burner to nonexistent actually... Again there's a lot of people just trying to survive and trying to even trust other people themselves because unfortunately in this type of world human beings can be just as terrible as actual monsters.

Yay! You're making gifs for Run On! And amazing ones at that (you always do make some awesome sets). Didn't think I'd fall for the main ship immediately but there's something about them that honestly makes my heart stutter if they even get within INCHES of the other (which omg episode 2 I nearly died)!

OMG I KNOWWWWW i was really hoping this drama would be the simple sweet romcom i needed after being let down by many shows that were supposed to be in that vein this year (we all know the ones) but the first two eps got me so much more hooked than i expected!!!! 

their chemistry is so good and i love how they interact - their conversation at the cart bar was some of the best kdrama dialogue i’ve seen in a long time. im so excited to see how things are gonna play out and i realllly hope that it stays this good
