This reminder is particularly humbling for me today. I had a recent interaction with a colleague while I was under a personally stressful situation and did not behave with kindness. While I didn't say anything that wasn't true, I certainly did react with an attitude that was NOT necessary and certainly wasn't kind. Maybe some can act that way and move on, but it has affected my eating habits, my sleep, my ability to focus and more. I was trying to brush it off and move forward. Everybody has bad days. But an apology is in order before I can do that.
