Isla Espiritu Santo, Mexico | may 2017. Some slow-mo sea lion action in the Sea of Cortez. These "dogs of the sea" are more closely related to today's ferrets - and are super playful. Cabo San Lucas, Mexico | May 5, 2017 A smooth hammerhead shark circles me during a surface swim in the waters where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean. The current was strong, the winds high and the waves moving in the opposite direction. A burly experience that was well worth the effort. I was lucky enough to be shooting in Mexico for @sonyalpha putting their new 12-24mm f4 lens through its paces. The lens was just officially announced by @sony.
