اُس نے فقط یہ تجارت کی تھی

یونہی بے سبب روٹھ گیا ہے مجھ سے

جدائی کی نہ کوئی وضاحت کہ تھی

وہ خدا رہے گا میری محبت کا

میں نے ٹوٹ جس کی عبادت کی تھی

مزاجِ امیر شہر سے اہنی بنی نہیں

میرا یہ جرم کہ بغاوت کی تھی
