it had been three months since the crash, and still there had been no sign of a rescue party -- or any other survivors washing up on the coast. everyone needed a little pick-me-up.. so during the night, the white goddess of akua island grew a palm tree in her lagoon, and fashioned it into a table and chairs for a game of ‘don’t wake llamatipoca’

adam zappel

if you were ever stranded on a magical island after a plane crash, adam zappel is who you’d want to share it with. born and raised in a generational farm in the hills above willow creek, adam is more than used to his fair share of hard work, long days, and heavy lifting.

adam is a vegetarian, and ironically does little farming or gardening on akua island aside from picking whatever he wants for dinner or breakfast. he loves the outdoors, and spends little time inside the cave he shares with eve, as he only goes inside the base of the mountain to sleep. adam is active, and starts his day on the island with at least 10 laps in the surrounding shallows and a jog along the sand.

This little place is starting to look more like a home! It is off the grid so no plumbing or electricity. She has to gather water for showers and use candles and a glass  roof for lighting. Her garden is finally starting to grow too!

First building! Finally safe from things breaking during thunderstorms and being struck by lightening!
