THE  ISLE  HAS  NEVER  BEEN  AND  WILL  NEVER  BE  HOME  .    she  might  be  stuck  there  ,    she  might  not  have  ever  known  anywhere  else  ,    she  might  even  die  there  ,    but  alison  has  never  once  thought  of  this  hellhole  as  anything  close  to  a  home  .    all  it  is  to  her  is  a  prison  ,    but  she  will  gladly  die  before  she  ever  betrays  it  .

OH  HOW  ALI  HATES  MAL  .  it’s  a  deep  hate  ,   really  ,    the  stuff  of  legends  .    the  kind  of  hate  that  continues  generation  after  generation  .    it  started  as  most  things  on  the  isle  do  ,    with  their  parents  .    maleficent  was  exactly  what  prince  hans  aspired  to  be  ,    that  is  to  say  ,   she  was  powerful  ,    the  baddest  of  the  bad  .

ALISON  LOOKED  AT  THAT  ,   and  then  looked  at  mal  ,    the  girl  everyone  knew  would  succeed  maleficent  when  the  time  came  .    the  girl  who  ,    as  far  as  ali  was  concerned  ,    wore  an  undeserved  crown  of  entitlement  .

SHE  WAS  JUST  AS  SMART  AS  MAL ,    twice as  power  hungry  ( if  not  more  )  ,    thrice  as  charming  ,    and  four  times  as  willing  to  do  what  it  takes  to  get  where  she  was  going  ,    so  why  was  mal  the  one  who  practically  ruled  the  isle  ?    because  she’s  part  dragon  ?    because  her  mother  was  scary  when  she  could  use  magic  ?    because  prince  hans  had  been last in  line  to  the  throne  ?

AND  THEN  ,    to  make  things  worse  ,    mal  got  to  go  to  auradon  and  meet princes  and  fall  in  love  with  the  king  and  become  the  princess  alison’s  bloodline  was  supposed  to  make  her  .    something   mal  never  even  wanted  .
