so! i am 95 percent sure this is the video i used. partially because it existed in september. so the knee slide is during the hound dog medley a little bit before nine minutes. and he's singing jailhouse rock during the 15 minute mark in that vid.

now in trying to compare this to the stand up session #1 and #2, i believe the hound dog knee slide is from session #1 at a little bit before six minutes. you can see the little— hump in the air almost? and the casual hand in front of his pants. there is a similar-ish knee slide in #2 with all shook up but i believe that one was intentional because if it isn't i have to laugh because that means he wanted to delight those women and oops they delighted him a lil too much.

now if we're talking about the jailhouse rendition? that looks like it's from #2. again. a lot of this boils down to how elvis moves after? or at least in my opinion. not to mention he kind of— makes a movement that one could associate with masturbation.

i will say now after more investigation that i see the merits of the guitar causing issues but i do also think that it had to have happened in one of the more intense movement wise parts of the special just because of again as i mentioned before, the friction aspect.
