Isobel sees Derek flirting with someone else, and her mouth immediately sets into a scowl. She's not shot down for too long, however, as she quickly finds herself someone to flirt with, as well - and flirting rapidly leads to kissing. Eventually, Isobel leaves with the boy (their intentions clear), and looks over her shoulder to flash a smirk at Derek. She knows it's wrong, but she can't help it. [Take that! meme]
Derek had been flirting with this (he thought) cute girl just because earlier Isobel had really pissed him off. He had been talking to the girl for so long that he only realized that Isobel was leaving when she purposefully walked away in front of of him with some guy. He shrugged as she turned to him with a smirk on her face, he wasn’t going to go chasing after her; he hadn’t done anything wrong.
