Oh, sweet summer days, marked by scathing heat & blinding rays! They shine ‘round coiffed locks like a halo while lithe fingers pick through a scuffed wallet. It’s a pile of puny bills he flaunts, and peeks sheepishly over his shoulder with pursed lips. His companion is outstanding, five feet back & radiating contrast with the pitch black of her hair. Prompto can’t smother his grin.
“ They’re all outta vanilla--- any second choice? ”

HER WORDS OFTEN FELL ON DEAF EARS. Nobody would listen, or care and she was glad for that. Most of the time, she would watch the world and speak into it, softly. Nobody would hear and she would say ‘it’s not my problem’ that she tried and she failed. BUT IT WASN’T HER FAULT. They should have listened to her. EXCUSES. She could have spoke louder. Anri had said something to the other, something so faint it was lost in translation. So faint that maybe even Anri couldn’t make out what she had said.

‘ spunky. that’ll get you the same place it got me if you don’t cut the shit , kid.’ kneeling down to her level, while he wasn’t towering over her, that sense of control that came with being face to face to someone really goes the extra mile. though his eyes were concealed, his optics would flash in her face, a mere taunt to an unworthy child. peering into her cold eyes, it only took a moment for the Knight to recognize that dead stare. the gaze of a broken child. had he any semblance of a heart, he’d speak up. offer her a deal of a lifetime to get back at those that brought her grief. but what could she do? she was a runt, reminiscent of his former self. he would not be one to draft a child into another war. that mistake would never be made again. ‘ get out of here kid. let the grown ups finish their business. ‘

Emi doesn’t know how to approach Kumi just yet but always makes the effort to text her every morning. With either just a good morning or something she’s going to do that day. Even if Kumi isn’t interested in the text, Emi genuinely wants to show her sister that she cares.
You’d never guess Emi to feel shy around anyone but around Kumi, she is. It’s mostly because she doesn’t know what to say or do. Afraid she’ll say something stupid or offend her sister due to the fact she doesn’t fully understand Kumi’s situation or how she’s grown up with her… “Parents”.
After a while, she’ll begin to get a little more confident around her ; maybe even push for her to meet their real parents. But regardless, Emi will respect Kumi’s wishes.
