Izzy has (verbally) fucked around and now she's eager to find out the consequences :D I love these two.
Two days late and a dollar short, but given the amount of detail in these pics, I'll take it XD Super dang happy with how these turned out, each one depicts my gal in her element in honor of the holidays. Happy belated Christmas, Hanukkah, and Yule, everyone!
Happy Valentine's to my OG gals :D I love this pic so much. So so SO damn much. Everything about it suits them. This isn't a particular scene from my fic (or in the future) or anything, just something I wanted to draw. The mood, the pose (both kneeling but Izzy clearly submissive), the expressions, gah. So good.
SUPER happy with how this came out. Behold, in all her glory, High Priestess of Belore, Isoldera Ambershield. This is her in her "official" raiment for sacred rites and such.
Chapter 31 - Drawn North
With Winter’s Veil approaching, Izzy returns to Silvermoon to keep old promises, strengthen new bonds, and witness Belore’s forgotten faith take root. But even amid gifts, chosen family, and fleeting moments of peace, Icecrown’s shadow draws ever closer. When the final summons comes, Izzy turns north to face the monster who shattered them all.
And thus ends "Christmas in July." Winter's Veil has been a busy time for Izzy, and it's the last breath of normal she's going to get because next up? The Frozen Halls. Which means we're closing in on the end! I'm working hard to get these chapters edited and ready to go, because if I finish this.....holy shit. Haha.
Hope everyone is staying safe, especially in the heatwaves and the air quality horror, and sane, and you're taking care of yourselves. Thanks for stopping by my small corner of Azeroth, leaving your kudos and comments, and I'll see you next time!
Chapter 30 - What Remains **UPDATED**
The battle for Icecrown looms, but Izzy's body demands payment for the miracle she wrought. In the quiet before Winter's Veil, she trades the front lines for the streets of Silvermoon and a long-overdue rest.
We're getting Christmas (or Winter's Veil) in July!
**UPDATE** And now it officially IS July, because I did a major overhaul of this chapter to improve flow as well as slow down on more important character moments. Hope you all like the changes ^^
Sorry for taking so long, jumping back into work and some financial issues have been distracting me for a while. Don't worry though, I won't leave you all hanging. Toward the Dawn WILL be finished this year. Hopefully sooner than the end of it....either way, enjoy the chapter, stay safe and sane, and I'll see you all next time!
Chapter 29: Pulled From Darkness
The Trial of the Crusader begins as champions from across Azeroth face monstrous challenges. Unity balances on a knife's edge as egos and old grudges threaten to detail the tournament. Then, just as victory seems within reach, the Lich King shatters the arena, and turns the trial into a deadly trap.
Another chapter down ^^ Thanks for bearing with me, this was another bear of a chapter to write. You'd think I'd have it easier after writing things like the Wrathgate and Battle for the Undercity, but no. Nope, I keep struggling on such large-scale battle scenes. And yet, WoW has so many of them...-le sigh.-
Anywho, please enjoy the Trial of the Crusader (WITHOUT the jousting, cause eff that) and look forward to the aftermath that's coming. As always, thank you all so much for the kudos and comments. I always get a grin whenever I see them. Stay safe and sane everyone, and I'll see you next time.
Toward the Dawn: Chapter 27 - What the Blade Can't Reach
In the wake of emotional devastation, Izzy stumbles across a moment between Thassarian and Koltira, and realizes death knights might have more skill in navigating romance than her. Meanwhile in Stormwind, Varian has his first official session with the mind healer, Lexen.
I am posting this from a cruise ship in the Mediterranean! Yes, folks, I've been on vacation, and I've been doing a LOT of writing in between cruise activities, so I'm hoping that when I come back, I'll have more chapters to post for you. The Frozen Halls is coming up fast but before then, the Wickerman Festival needs to be celebrated :D Hope everyone stays safe and sane, and I'll see you after my trip!
