iSpyBio is an unbiased search engine that offers quality reagents for life scientists. Rather than ranking products based on revenue from suppliers, we use over 320,000 experimental images (from a variety of applications including WB, IHC-P, IF and SDS-page), as well as more than 150,000 publications and 11,000 end user reviews to rank products, ensuring researchers find the best products first.
iSpyBio offers a simple tool to help life science researchers find quality reagents for their experiments. We constantly scan suppliers’ websites, to ensure we have the most up-to-date information for each product. Results can be filtered to ensure researchers can find the reagents most relevant to their interests.
With a search box at the top of every page, the search function is the primary method for users to access information on iSpyBio. Users can type the name of the reagent they are interested in, and then choose a category of products (such as Antibodies or Proteins), before hitting the search button.
Users can filter search results by attributes including conjugation, tested applications, host species and supplier, making it easier for researchers to find the best product for their needs.
The Compare function allows users to select multiple reagents and view product attributes side-by-side in a table, further simplifying the process of viewing products from multiple suppliers and weighing up the relative merits of each.
Clicking on a product will take the end user directly to the product page on the supplier’s website, should they wish to make a purchase or view further information about that reagent.
Currently, there are over 720,000 life science products from 63 suppliers on iSpyBio. Antibodies make up the bulk of the listed products, with over 600,000 available. There are also over 100,000 proteins, peptides, biomolecules, and ELISA kits.
