I Feel Like I Know Her (pt2)- Noah Centineo
Hey guys, so I’m back for the second part of this series.I saw that a few of you enjoyed the first part and it made me want to keep going so this is the second part of the series so I hope you enjoyed this second part (This GIF has nothing to do with the second part but it’s Noah so please forgive me)
Prompt: Noah’s POV on how he felt during the situation
Noah’s POV :
Once she was lead to her room, this strange feeling invaded my being.
When our hands touched, something coursed through my veins.
It felt as if I had known her for so long, it felt as if I had already seen her somewhere.
I stood there, watching her leave my grasp as her small hand slipped out of mine, my hand feeling warm.
I looked around, the hospital was crowded, paramedics entering and hurrily leaving the ICU.
I want to see her again, talk to her again because something just happened within me, something clicked as we talked, her voice soft and slightly croaky.
I head to the reception, a nurse typing on her computer :
« Excuse me but can you tell me what’s the name of the girl that I brought in ? »
« I’m sorry sir, if you aren’t related to the person, I can’t hand over that sort of information »
I sigh as I start leaving the reception until I bumped into Cierra, a nurse that works at the hospital and a very good friend of mine :
« Hey Noah, long time no see »
« Yeah, it’s been a while, listen, I need your help » I reply
« Whatever you need »
« I need you to check up a patient file for me, her name is Y/N but I don’t know her last name »
Cierra moves to the reception and starts typing in her name in the database :
« Y/N Y/F/N, she’s 21 years old, she lives in Michigan, she doesn’t seem to have any health problems.
Because of the accident, she broke two of her ribs, also she broke her leg and neck so it’ll take her a few weeks of recovery.
She’ll be in room 205 » Cierra responds as she writes the information down on a piece of paper.
She hands me the paper and smiles :
« Thanks a lot Cierra » I smile back as I start leaving
« Noah ! » she exclaims
I turn around and look at her :
« Why did you want her information ? »
« Because when I was with her, something happened, I feel lke as if I know this girl.
Just being by her side made me feel a little weird, all tingly, I want to know who she is because I elt this connection, I mean wouldn’t you do the same ? »
She looks at me with a glint in her eye :
« I think that what you experienced is love at first sight » she says with a smirk
« Nah, you know me girl, love won’t reach me » I answer slyly
She nods as she starts going back to the ICU while I head back to the van.
Once the van is back to HQ, I start putting my stuff away in my locker when Israel comes beside me :
« What was that about ? » he asks as he also puts his stuff away
« What do you mean ? » I answer
« Dude, you acted so different when she was there, I mean, I’ve never seen you act this way before »
« I don’t know what you’re talking about man » I whisper as I put my stuff away
Is he right ? Did I change when I saw her ? Did I lose my professional side when I saw her ?
I don’t know what happened to me but I know one thing : I have to see her again...
