Issue 53 is out, so let’s jump right into it!
So Sonic and the gang manage to get out of Eggman’s Eggperial City, and they make their way to Tails’ workshop to make some repairs and tend to their injuries...
Sonic and Tails then realize that they should probably tell Kit about what happened to Starline and Surge (unknowing of the fact that Surge is still alive and kicking), so they tell him, and he of course doesn’t take it too well...
Meanwhile, Surge is busy using her fancy new Dynamo Cage to cause destruction in Central City, but Whisper shows up just in time to start fighting her. However, Surge figures out that she can use the Dynamo Cage to harness the Wisps’ power similar to how Sonic does in Colors, and she begins taking Whisper’s Wisps from her one by one. Jewel then informs everyone else of the situation, and Sonic and Tails leave to go help Whisper...
When they arrive, they see both Whisper and Surge (the latter of whom is also currently talking to another vision of Starline), and it’s revealed to them that Surge is in fact alive!
Back at Tails’ workshop however, Kit feels that with Surge and Starline now gone, he should begin helping Sonic in the same way he did them, and he escapes from the workshop, leaving Belle behind.
And that’s it for Issue 53! The next Issue we’ll be getting is the first Issue of Scrapnik Island on the 19th of this coming month, and it will be followed up by Issue 54 one week later!
