I just reblogged a thing comparing the current events/revolutions that are compared to a few Mockinjay storylines And i wanted to express this and maybe get your guy's opinion on this So there's this post going on (last time i saw it it had 8.000 odd notes) and it was saying how we shouldn't compare fandom thinks like Mockingjay and Captain America for example to the things that are happening right now in Ferguson. And I have to completely disagree. We, and i'm talking mainly about Tumblr people, came on this website purely for fandom and aestethic things. And that's how we got to know more and more stuff and that's how we think There are a lot of youngsters on here that do a really good job of associating fiction with reality- that's how we're made to be. And that's ok. Because we could've sat back and not have given a crap. But instead we're speaking up about it, doesn't matter how we got to that point And let's not forget that Mockingjay HAS been banned in countries like China and Russia, and Thailand is considering the three fingers sign as a form of anarchy and people have been locked up for it already.
