kickvic loves to compare vic to Bill Cosby and Harvey Weinstein. The comparison is stupid for two reasons. 1. Weinstein and Cosby were actually charged with sexual assault. 2. Just because some celebrities abused thier power to assault women doesnt mean vic did. To me its classic whataboutism, kickvic knows there's no reason vic shouldn't have been charged so they bring up Weinstein and cosby to swift blame. In the end if they cant 100% prove vic is guilty the allegations are baseless.
I keep trying to answer this but someone keeps going wrong.
Basically, I think there are some that believe it but many don't. Some come off as "please don't come after me. I am an ally" kind of thing.
Another is I would accept evidence if they show it. We show them ours and we want the same kind.
Let's never forget, people do lie.
TCPA
TCPA
Vic's case was thrown out because in his own fucking deposition he admits that the others he accused of being part of some bullshit conspiracy were not actually guilty. He said so much so himself, as well as some other creepy shit like "oh its not weird to kiss young girls, they asked for it!"
If all you have is him doing what every other celebrity and politician does, then you kind of have nothing. Nothing against Monica here, but they kiss and hug people. It's their job. But I gotta ask, will you be gonna after Monica next?
@felicianacariocapistoles
Does it change what I said in the post? Vic is still innocent of what he was accused of. They have no desire to press chargers like they claimed. And there is still chance for appeal.
@ultraericthered
With everything that has come out of this I doubt it. Even if you ignore his co-workers only hating him due to jealousy, you have the community going after him after he made the rumors panel. "Guess what, I am not homophobic." Seems to be the trigger word. It could always be why this was the only allegation that never dropped, him being drunk went away with time, along with yelling at the staff. But they always want you to know he is homophobic, even above the sexual harassment allegations.
It doesn't help that this case started with allegation towards the wrong guy (Monica Rial's Ex Boyfriend). While I am not quick to judge without evidence, this guy did actually marry an underage girl and to my knowledge the two are no longer together, possible because she was too old for him and he moved on to someone younger.
A woman that claimed he ate a jellybean in a sexual manner (kind of dumb) but the bullying resulted in an actual false allegation by her, claiming to be assaulted in a hotel room. Now, either this woman has a very strange sense on what is more important or the backlash caused her to make up a fake story.
Then you have the story by Lynn Hunt aka LJMontello. Who has made false allegations about Vic before, people seem to think we can't find video of conversations he was in. Again, they put a crazy lazy who isn't taking the recommended medication into an affidavit. And we all know how great that turned out, making the story less believable than having just one person. Even than, Whitney's still went against Jennifer's and the RRs story. I wonder why Lemonade didn't use their testimony? Maybe he wanted to create a false narrative.
But at this point, the amount of bullshit we have seen I have to ask, why do you believe this one, especially when you consider the past allegations? We know the allegations before 2010 were bullshit, so what makes these any different? Because it is of sexual assault? Well, no. That is listen and believe mentality, do people learn nothing from history? Are we just doomed to repeat the mistakes from the past because people can't put two and two together.
It is fucked up because the reality is if he signed Yaoi, then none of this would have happened to him. They would move on to a target who they think wronged them in some way, (Chuck and Todd seem to be on the chopping block since they came out to defend him). All it took was for him to sign fake gay (lets face it, Yaoi is for women, not gay men) porn and none of this would have happened.
I haven't really seen him be an asshole unless it is to protect his fans. It may be an asshole move to the protesters but I don't really blame him for getting mad here.
They all have an ego, why pick on Vic. To know my knowledge he has admitted to having and has worked to be as humble as he could.
Plus, if you were fan, then you would know about about all the stuff being said about him. Which is why I ask why believe these ones? But it does you believe all of them as you seem to think he is homophobic and that was where it all started. So it suggests that once the homophobic allegations started coming out you were no longer a fan.
I trusts evidence, when you see so many false allegations and evidence to suggest something is wrong with what they are claiming. I say again, Vic was investmented because some Yaoi fan piled on and used an actual pedophile to say it was Vic. That was in the TCPA as well. How can funimation screw up so badly that they don't even remember who it was. I think they did remember but didn't actually care. Monica would of remembered as she bragged about dating him a few years ago. And she didn't say "Hey, you know this girl is talking about someone else, right?" Nope. She went along with it because she knew he was going to get fired just like her ex.
Hm.. I wonder why. You know, I talked with the girl at ANN that made the famous Vic article. Even when I gave her all the information I knew. I also want to take the time to quote the events around Michael Jackson and a documentary went into why so many people went against him when the two dumbasses came out. Metoo. People were scared to go against. In the anime industry, we see what is happening with Todd for his support of Vic. Out of no where someone claimed to be sexually assaulted by Todd, and like the boss he is. Stan comes out and explained that this cosplayer had been in trouble for stalking Todd in the past. Allegations yes. Sexual assault was 9 years. When he made the rumors panel was when the allegations came up. And we all know how you felt about that panel. So, imagine a bunch of Yaoi fangirls who we have seen do a lot worse than false allegations. Tumblr is a good record of this, and people have admitted on twitter that they want to see Vic die.
You have been ignoring haven't been reading what I wrote. Have you? Because that is quite the claim to make and it shows you have just been skimming to get a good idea of what I am talking about. You are not understand why, evidence be damned. You just see a fanboy because you don't understand why.
I leave you with this beautiful quote which sums it all up if you watched the depo itself. Her voice, damn...
“his name is in the front of the box...... even though I was playing the main character.”
I saw someone on twitter argue that the statue of limitations is why vic mignogna was never charged. Even if that was the case, the fact remains the people involved did NOTHING TO STOP HIM. meaning If vic really is predator than their just as guilty as he is. Not to mention the allegations still havent been proven.
You will even see in the TCPA that one of the girls claimed they told the parents. That was it. No police report, nothing. If the parents won't do anything, they can't do anything mind you. You call the police. This is what Stan was trying to explain. If there was a sexual assault allegation the police will be called. I had to argue with people over the Tekko con where a 14 year old was found in his hotel room. Nothing was done. Despite them claiming he jumped up and screamed he never touched her. Lol. This sounds like the dramatic writing of a crazy person. Everyone had an opportunity to report, the fucking staff themselves. And that is where you see they are lying is when the staff and volunteers working there will see a child get molested and do nothing. Stan literally had to call the police on someone he knew was gay (I say this because people were defending them and saying they couldn't be sure so they never called the police.) Over a sexual assault allegation. He probably knew 90% it wasn't true but he still had to call the police. Turns out the girl was lying, go figure.
I will always believe they did this over him not signing Yaoi. His co-workers are a different story as Vic has said they hate for other reasons. And in the dawn of metoo, a man's career can be ruined because someone out there doesn't like him. You would think it would be because of the sexual assault, but no. It's petty, "he is a diva" "he is signing people's art" "he makes more money" "his name was on the box and not mine.... even though I was the main character."
"Guys, I know all of you. I've been around you. I've heard you talk about Vic when he wasn't in the room. You know, I didn't comment, I didn't say anything. So I know what you said, So don't act like you didn't say it. That you didn't like Vic, you didn't like him because he was very good at self promoting and that he was more popular than you. It's jealous."
- Stan Dahlin.
Because of where the case was when it was thrown out, Vic is required BY LAW to pay the lawyer fees of the defendants. So he'd emptied his sheeple fund-- I mean, the war chest to pay his lawyer, and the now he has to fork over his own money to pay the fees of the others, lol, sure, winning. That kool-aid grape or cherry flavored?
He won because they all they did was whine about him doing stuff and they provide no proof. However, people were to debunk the claims the TCPAs made. Stan and Erica being just two while the internet went back to grab screenshots from the past to prove many were lying.
This is why we say he won, and I think even Vic feels the same way. More people believe him the more they investigate.
