-variant of aard, shoots a wave that cuts.

Algus - freezing one Fuli - electrical shock. has variations of strength. takes concentration to direct it Niden - Light flash-- blinds opponents

Mentally influential

Abii- frightens Txii - charms target

-maybe a spell for arousal though im not sure why he would have this

-enduces nightmares if target is a sleep

defensive-

shield, useful for blocking fire or a friendly target

healing spell. minor and it isnt very strong. magic spells are still rare.

invisible cloak, difficult to cast. uses a lot of energy. he has to hold his breath

a drabble of my witcher istavan and sebesun ‘s darren

"Ye need tae eat." the sharped tooth Witcher ran his tongue oh so carefully along his teeth as he looked over the pot boiling before him. the venison had been cooking the greater half of the day. Istavan recoiled pausing as he looked at the mans face, his eye lit up by the glow of the fire light.His eye, normally a pale orange glowed brightly in the dim light. it was a wonder of which of the pair had the best vision but it was certain who the best sight "i'm not hungry." the soft toned Witcher turned his eyes down to an old book. runes. many of them. if he studied long enough--for months some useful ones might be translatable into his own signs but only higher level griffins--those whom were old and gray, who had seen the birth of the great city of Novigrad, accomplished that.

"An' Ah dornt fuckin caur. mans got tae eat. hoo lang hae we bin walkin' together? a body..tae weeks? buck, ah don’t knoo. Ah hardly see ye eat--those swallows dornt coont fur a hin'!" he turned back to look at the pale witcher and let out an audible growl when he noticed the man was ignoring--no not ignoring but engrossed into study. the pair were with in an old elven ruin taking the day off from traveling and found the cave to be a safe hide out for now. he growled again and slammed his hand on the book. Even with istavans witcher senses he jumped his eye flicking up sheepishly to look at the man. His posture wasn't aggressive but it was assertive. He took the book from istavans hands quickly but it was not with out care as he closed it with one hand and set it behind hismelf. "Nae readin' until Ah see ye finish a bowl. fuckin groon arease can can e'en feed himself"

"I can feed myself' Istavan began to argue but was silenced by the look. it wasn't a glare, no it was an all knowing look, one that told Istavan he knew his reasons to well and it had the power to silence him and he hated that. the stew smelled like apples? apples with venison? he just barely prevented his lip from curling in disgust. but if it would appease his traveling companion he could at least swallow it. he didn’t have to like it. the wooden bowl was pushed in front of him. the man turned and handed him a utensil watching the Griffin carefully. Istavan allowed his nose to wrinkle in annoyance before he conceded. he took a bite and his eye widened.

he paused. Darren raised a brow expectantly.

it was as if it had flipped a switch and the griffin felt his stomach rumble, noticing his hunger for the first time in ages. for a long while he had gone with out. not because of Witcher pride but--something inside of him had shut off. something Darren had only been able to bring back to light. He didn’t understand these feelings but that is how he could feel them manifesting inside of him. Quietly and quickly a smile the pale man began to eat the rest with out another word. Darren turned his back when he was satisfied.

and smiled.
