My favorite from this year Christmas series, a portrait picturing the chelicerates, spider like creatures from my dnd universe that always wear mask to be less frightening
Tw for spider
More Christmas drawing ? Yes ! This time a portrait for @granhyt of their halfling spy from one of my dnd campaigns
Halfling of this world are deeply links to earth and plants, and this shows in her appearance !
Claire, simply Claire
A young woman who doesn't talk much, an halfling typical of the world of Istea, with her earthy skin and not as supple as normal hay-like hairs, she's just a servant. A normal servant, helpful, kind, stealthy, always listening, always here to lend an hand or do her duty. She's small, but speedy. She does magic, but only to protect herself or help her charges.
And if she spies a bit for her master, what's the problem ? It's a small price for the temporary services of a great domestic.
Claire, ordinary halfling servant
Joining a d&d campaign mastered by Ewylana, Claire is just a servant, here to support the main characters. She is hardly noticeable, often forgotten, and perfectly happy to stay unseen. After all, this is the best place for a spy.
She comes from a sect/philosophy where people tries to make the least possible amount of noise. She left home, but still tries to minimize her presence.
Mecanically, she's a monk of tranquility/trickster rogue, doing a little bit of magic and a lot of Sanctuary and Aid actions to support others. She don't attack. But she helps the "big ones" to hit theirs.
This drawing is half for a joke, half to try to imitate someone's style. And miss, which is actually better. :) I kind of like it, actually.
Eternia, chosen of Epoka
Elf of the lake, dabbler of everything, lover of dance, this wanderer was designated as one of the four chosen of the goddess of seasons. Representing the Spring, Eternia is not convinced she's at her place amongst these heroes, but tries to help as best she can.
She's addicted to illusions, using her hat of disguise everytime the group travel somewhere. It's fun, and this way, nobody can recognize her if she doesn't want to.
Last one, for now at least, of the quick drawing serie.
Ana, the red rider
@ewylana's character Ana, I decided to draw one of her oc's as a thank for all her kind advice and support since I started trying to learn how to draw and even before.
I can't say much about Ana, except than she had a long, eventful, bloody life, and in some versions she even become a goddess. Not too bad of an end result, if I say so myself.
I went for a more modern outfit than my usual "med-fan", just because I wanted to change a bit. I really need to learn how to draw faces, it's okayish but far from fine. ^^
Flora Sesce, drow of Istea
Who's this woman walking out of a shadowed street, and why she has three eyes ? She's a drow from the world of Istea, a world built by @ewylana to which I contribute a bit. Blessed by the gods, or cursed according to some, drows in this world have some limited prescience.
They can see things people don't usually, but that didn't help them when the Angelus empire came to liberate the deepdark from the demons invading the place then decided to stay here and occupy the place. While many drows still live in the deepdark, in the still free areas or under the domination of Angelus, some left to the overworld, and Flora is one of those.
With a nice flowy dress and a crown like this one, she was probably a minor noble in her homeland, with quite a bit of money. Now she lives in the southern islands of the Merchant Principauties, where it's way more sunnier than she used to. But she seems to fit in nicely.
