There is a difference between using quotes like "lonely, lovely, lethal" which can be very well used to describe other characters like Arya and Dany without relating it to Jon and using a quote like "What do you know of my heart priestess?" which is directly tied to Jon's feelings towards Arya yet still making it about Jon's feelings while exchanging Arya with another character.

The Story of Rezen Ripplegrin

Disclaimer: Rezen thrived in a game where we had homebrew stuff, swapped out dms a lot (due to a lot of people hating certain players or just failing to improve from our comments) and most importantly, we did not really take this seriously at all. That being said, its time for a trip. 

Rezen’s backstory was fairly short and simple. He was the next to be a lord of the feywild, framed for the murder of his dad, fled to natural world and then joined a group of adventurers. 

Okay so to start, i’m going over the highlights of the main shitshow of his life.

He and the rest of the group woke up in a prison, decided to put a chest into a bag of holding just in case and then left on Rezen’s broom. The air genasi gunslinger, morthos, got his own BoH to ride in. 

The party arrives in a town called Applebees who’s main attraction is an Applebees run by a half orc called Chef. He survives don’t worry. After the party eats the 2 for 20 gold combo, they go to the center of the town where a chuul rises from the fountain and attempts to attack the party. 

Rezen casted lightning bolt and the gunslinger had action surge. It did not survive. apparently the unemployment rate in town was massive because a large amount of homeless began to run at the chuul to eat it, i guess. Morthos attempted to fire a warning shot. Got a nat 1 then rolled percentile dice.

Anyway, after morthos accidentally fired a single round into 100 poor people, it seemed that almost all of the town was dead. Rezen decided to take over the town because 1. who else would and 2. he’s kinda trained for this?

Rezen got ritual caster and golemancy homebrew spells and the dm gave us a month of free time. Now, Rezen hates to have things go to waste and he had a lot of resources.

Rezen crafted a gargantuan flesh golem which he titled Vordt while Morthos crafted cannons and brought new people into town. The town slowly began to regrow and was renamed Poinya

The party ventured further into their domain and learned that there was an empty mine (that they took a few days to clear out/ light up) and a snowy area up north. Rezen found a lone baby albino displacer beast that he named Orthros. 

The party encountered a yeti and sadly no one expected it to die to a full round of bullets and a lightning bolt. They found a gnoll fighter that barely survived the encounter and invited him to join their town as the head of the guard.

The party also discovered a puzzle ridden tower where there was a half dragon fighter atop guarding the tower. The party hated puzzles and their hatred turned into a new body to recycle into a flesh golem.  

A few more in game months pass and a small group of knights are at the outskirts of town looking for the leader. After being told that the old leader was dead, they were going to return to their town and raze the city. Rezen, thinking poorly, used the tried and true lightning bolt to solve the problem.
