kid thing for rex and ras do it
OH NO AND BY THAT I MEAN OH YES
Name: (Rex would probably want Ras to name her a good Keeper name, maybe something like Lhotse, and she’d be of Clan Kacha’s line of course!)
Gender: Probably Female, just based on odds!
General Appearance: Thick black hair and fur that never, ever lays flat, with Rast’s slight grey-tinted complexion, and her mother’s emerald eyes. Long fangs, and a brush tail- three quarters keeper, one quarter seeker. Grows up to be quite tall, though perhaps not quite to Rex’s full five foot and seven inches.
Personality: With a mother like Ras, she’s bound to be a spirited kid with a taste for mischief, that Rex is only happy to indulge. She’s talking rings around the both of them not a moment after she learns how to, of course- but like both parents she has a heart of pure gold and a genuine will to do right by people, in whatever she does.
Special Talents: She’ll have been taught to ride early since both Ras and Rex have their own birds, one very Fast and one very Strong and neither of them gelded so she’ll have a nuanced sense of control and respect for horsebirds. Ras’s experience with tek and gadgetry will probably rub off on her too, giving her an edge with every new advance in technology while her poor old dad is left scratching her head still.
Who they like better: Probably Rastirah just based on that slight matriarchal tendancy in their culture- and Rastirah may do a little less nagging about being a responsible person, which Rex can’t help but do- but she’s probably just as likely to trudge up to Rex for cuddles when she’s poorly as her mum, because dad still gives some pretty great hugs.
Who they take after more: Rastirah on the whole, although when she was first born the shock of black fur was an unmistakeable clue.
Personal Headcanon: When she’s as young as about nine she starts bugging Rastirah to put dreds in her hair. Rex and her bond over the cub teaching Rex how to help her do her hair just how she likes it in the evening, and with Rex helping to brush her tail while they go over homework things like mental arithmetic (which is good practise for Rex frankly, who needs it just as much) and spelling lists.And if any of these other hypothetical kids came to pass she’d have at least... two confirmed half sisters, Luna and Cosette.
