No Villain Sues who all gobble up plotlines,  Surprises with more thought than making the headlines, No teleportation like they've sprouted wings, These are a few of my favorite things.

When it’s racist, When the plot’s dumb When strawmen attack, I simply remember my favorite things, and ignore that the show’s off-track!

ok after trying a bunch of other stories with the same premise and getting approximately nowhere, i must come to the unfortunate conclusion that ive read my personal catnip in a new category first AGAIN and probably need to lower my standards. sad sigh

it is really unfortunate that it seems like once we hit the 'we're heading to the end of the book' stage of a book (so. when the ending crescendo is rising and to fall) i will just keep going until the end. hence the fact it now appears to be 4 30 am .
