me, drinking some wine and flicking through old, half-done fics i should probably get round to finishing: i wonder
me: i wonder if.. eorzea has... furries...
I MEAN. like. if some hyur or miqo’te wants to bang an amal’jaa or a lupin, a ‘beast tribe’, does that count as furrydom? interspecies most definitely but like, is it ffxiv’s equivalent of furries? or scalies, if we take amal’jaa example but you know what i mean.
hmmmmmmmmMMMMMMMMM
i get the mail at the post office for my church & we got this quarterly magazine from 1 of the groups we donate $ to that has an article from a pastor who claims he was homosexual srsly why do only anti-lgbt people use that word but ‘got better.’
and naturally he blames it on being the youngest son & his dad abused his older bros but not him & his dad was an alcoholic. cuz, ya know, if you feel inadequate b/c your dad didn’t abuse you, you’ll... like men??
and the saddest part is while trying to “get help,” he was engaged to a lady in his church’s singles group who ended up leaving him b/c turns out she was a lesbian. the singles group wasn’t even exclusively for ‘ex-gays’ so clearly, these were just 2 misguided people trying to find a beard until she realized she couldn’t hide it anymore.
then, after ‘falling off the wagon’ for a bit, he goes back to the singles group, meets a woman with bulimia there, & after knowing each other for 1 year, they marry. considering he’s obviously just trying to get married as an attempt at forcing himself to be straight & control himself & her bulimia is essentially a way of controlling part of your life when you feel you’ve lost control of other things, i feel terrible for both of them.
needless to say, this magazine is gonna mysteriously end up in my recycling.
