This isn't real enough for you, Billy? I'm not real enough for you? It was real enough for Georgie!
Just watched IT part 1 and 2 straight thru and like. Ok I know there were a lot of people shipping eddie and richie when the movies came out and tbh im not that emotionally attached to their relationship idk. What I DO find interesting is the dynamic of "I literally remembered u existed less than a day ago, remembered you are one of the most important people in my life and now you're dead." This could apply to literally any character's feelings about eddie or stan, but I feel like I'll be more able to find stories to read if I look in the eddie/richie tags. This could apply to literally any character at all if I leave out the "you're dead" part. Which is also a dynamic I am interested in if slightly less so. If anyone has any fic recommendations for this kind of thing I am all ears.
It: Part 1 (1990)
Beverly Marsh outfit progression
in love / stan uris
summary: basically fluff where stanley admits he’s in love with the reader.
“So, when are you going to tell her?”
Stan flinched surprised and lifted his view. He smiled shyly, with slight confusion and stared directly back at her face; your Mom just stood there and wouldn’t take her eyes off his face.
“I’m not sure what you...”
Your mom gave him a warm, knowing smile which said: you don’t have to keep acting. It’s...okay.
Suddenly Stan’s smile grew bigger. But he also felt as if someone was choking him; he couldn’t breathe properly as the big stone was falling off his chest.
“I’m not sure if I should”, he said quietly. “We’ve been friends for so long and I’m too scared to destroy that...if I ever tell her.”
And it was true: The two of you had been friends since...when? Your whole childhood, definitely. Probably since first grade. Maybe even longer.
“I understand that, I’ve been there. But ... Listen, Stanley. I like you. I like your family and if I’m not too wrong, I think they can tolerate us, too...”
Stanley smiled and nodded. “Of course, Mrs. Y/L/N. My mom adores you.”
It didn’t really have to do anything with the fact that they were the only two Jewish families in Derry, but also that they had known each other for forever. They understood how it felt to be in a minority; just like you and Stanley, they felt like outsiders. But when they were together, they didn’t.
“And I can assure you, I wouldn’t ask you this, if I didn’t think she’d have the same feelings for you. Sure, it’s not really my job to tell you this...uncool mom and probably - pretty sure - totally out of place (and she’ll definitely kill me if she ever finds out I told you this)”, she made a grimace at which Stanley laughed again, “but I’ve seen the way you look at her. For a long time. And I think the only thing the two of you need is a gentle push.”
Stanley looked at her, than down at his hands and back at her again. “Thank you, Mrs. Y/L/N. I’ll think about it.”
Again she gave you a warm smile and then vanished back to the kitchen where he didn’t hear a sound anymore. He sat in your living room with his face in his hands and his thoughts anywhere afar. When you arrived from your room with you biology class books, you gave him a slightly worried look. He didn’t even seem to notice you had come back.
“Stan?”, you said quietly. He glanced up and his dark eyes met yours immediately. Your worries all vanished the second he gave you a sweet, wide smile. The smile reached his eyes and you smiled back.
“Thank you”, he said politely and the two of you started studying.
On the same day, a few hours after Stan went home, you changed in your favorite baby blue nightgown and sat in front of your makeup stand. When you started combing your hair and getting ready for bed, you heard some weird noises from outside. Your room was upstairs and your parents were probably already asleep but yet your first thought was to wake them up. The experiences of the last few months made you uncomfortable whenever you had the thought that something odd was going on. You shivered. Instead of waking them up, you stood up and tiptoed towards your window.
“Hello?”, you asked with a dying voice, “Is there someone?”
First you thought that your imagination had confused you, but suddenly a face appeared in front of your window and you almost let out a terrified scream. It was...Stan? You closed your eyes and took a deep breath and opened them again, to assure yourself it was really him.
He had done that before, even often, but the last time he had done that was months ago. Probably because of the curfew and all the other stuff that had been going on. Or he probably just didn’t...want to. You swallowed.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you”, Stanley whispered the second you opened the window and gave him your hand to help him get inside.
“It’s okay”, you whispered back and smiled unwillingly, “What are you doing here?”, you asked after he had come in. You closed the window behind him and sat down on the bed, nodding in his direction for him to sit down as well.
You must have looked so ridiculous in that stupid nightgown, it was a hundred years old and made you look like Sandy from Grease. You liked that actually, but you didn’t want Stan to see you like that. You thought he might think you were childish or stupid and you wanted to avoid that. But right now you had other things to think about.
“I...”, he started, taking his eyes off you and looking at his hands, unsure and weirdly insecure.
“Did something happen?”, you asked, suddenly very nervous, “Are the others okay? Are you...okay?”
He nodded and lifted his view. Then he opened his mouth but closed it immediately. Even though his face was headed towards you, he seemed to look right through you.
“Everything’s alright”, he said quickly, “I just...I needed to see you.”
Suddenly his eyes were connected with yours again and the odd, uncomfortable feeling fell off of you. Now you were just happy to see him.
“Okay”, you said, not sure if you should smile or not, “Do your parents know where you are? It’s almost ten and...”
“I need to tell you something.”
He sounded...different. You swallowed and opened your mouth, only to close it again. You shook your head carefully and couldn’t stop looking at him. He was here to tell you that he had found out that you liked him more than you said and now he couldn’t be your friend anymore. Or he was moving away - probably to another state. Or he already knew you were madly in love with him, and he was here to tell you that he liked someone other than you. Or he...he...you felt unsure what to do but you decided to stop those mean thoughts from distracting you.
“Tell me”, you said quietly.
He took your hand with one hand and with the other one he gently caressed your cheek. You felt immediately how your heart started pounding hard in your chest.
“I...” He took a deep breath and looked you deeply in the eyes, making you almost explode. You felt how you stopped breathing and just glanced at his lips, catching him doing the same thing. You opened your lips a bit and closed your eyes. Suddenly you felt how he came near and you felt his warm breath on your skin before he pressed his lips on yours. Your heart was about to explode, but you never wanted that kiss to end. It was what you had been dreaming and daydreaming about for the last eternity and it was even better than you could have ever imagined it.
After a few seconds you pulled your head back and looked at him with slight confusion. “That’s what you wanted to say”, you whispered and smiled because you had made him laugh.
“You’re beautiful”, he said quietly and with a slight smile on his perfect lips, “and you’re clever and nice and always there when I need you. You’re...I...I’m in love with you, y/n. And I’ve been for quiet some time”, he smiled.
You smiled back and grabbed him by his head, caressing through his golden curls and kissing him again.
“I’m so glad you were the first one to say it. But you must know, I’ve been in love with you forever. And I think I always will be, Stanley.”
He smiled as wide as he could and gave you a kiss on your forehead, pulling you close and putting his arms around you.
Now everything was perfect and you felt that magic was everywhere around you.
Pennywise With a Goth Girlfriend (Headcanon)
Request: Can you do a request where Pennywise has a goth girlfriend?
A/N: As a goth girl, this resonates with me. Also, this is my first time back at writing for Pennywise in well over a year, actually, I think it's about 2 years at this point. So, go easy on me pls! I know this is hot garbage.
Disclaimer: I understand that there are a lot of people that don't get this whole fandom, at all. That's totally fine. I think all of us in this fandom are first to admit that, yeah, this is out of the ordinary. BUT, with that being said, please have some consideration before you start leaving rude comments. We are real people with real feelings behind these screens. We don't bother you, don't bother us.
You definitely stand out in a crowd, and it didn't take Penny long to take notice of you
Upon first meeting you, he was thoroughly confused and frustrated by you, yet intrigued
You had the palest of skin, dark hair, piercings, and you always had a unique way of applying makeup
Of course his first intention wasn't to court you, he had other plans. None of which came to fruition when he realized you weren't frightened by him
"You don't look like any human I've ever seen."
You took that as a compliment
"Did he send you?" He had growled, referring to his nemesis, Maturin.
He couldn't understand why you were never afraid of him.
"You look like some of my ex boyfriends.. They were clowns, too," you joked with him the first time you ever came face-to-face with him.
Confused glare
He's always very curious of any new piercings that you get
Constantly pokes at your piercings
"I've never seen a human grow metal from their face."
He gets a real surprise when he discovers the beauty of what nipple piercings are
He finds it comical whenever you put on a pair of Demonias and almost reach his height
"Look at you, human. You can almost look me directly in the eyes."
Devious grin
Poor thing decided to put a pair of your platforms on one day and being the clumsy thing that he is, proceeded to fall right on his face when he hit his head on your ceiling standing up to and almost knocked himself out.
Him finding all of your harnesses and collars
"What on Earth are these, small one?"
He ends up keeping one of them that has a bell on it, keeping it with him at all times to keep a piece of you with him
Since you look like more of an ethereal creature than an actual human, he often forgets that you're not like him
He is always infatuated by how different you look with and without makeup
"Can you change your form as well?"
He always studies you intensely whenever you apply makeup, trying to find out when you change your face
He often begs you to fix his up
"Put the magic paint on me, human."
He's forever admiring your beauty and pale skin
You have to restock on fishnets every week because he loves to rip them off of you
Total drooly boi whenever he sees you in latex, PVC, leather, fishnets
Him always nuzzling his head into the crook of your neck when you're not wearing some elaborate spiked collar
"Something as pleasing to the eyes as you are cannot be from this world."
You do your best to teach him everything you can about the goth subculture
Sometimes you spend countless hours when he's around just laying on your bed, showing him all the classic goth bands like: Bauhaus, The Cure, Siouxsie Sue & The Banshees, Sisters of Mercy, etc..
"I've never seen a group of humans so infatuated with things that are so melancholy."
It's quite comical that, at times, he seems as if he is intimidated by you
Your sheer demeanor and beauty often times has the power to make him melt right before you
The Losers Club & Their Daemons - Part I
A series of headcanons, as determined by an hour-long conversation with @letmetellyouaboutmyfeels
Part I
Within six months of facing Pennywise the first time, all of them have settled.
Bev has a komodo dragon, and she loves it. It’s big and terrifying and ugly, there is nothing feminine about it. She is never going to be anyone’s little girl ever again.
Eddie has a lion, almost bigger than he is. When Eddie hugs him, Eddie’s entire head disappears into his mane.
Mike has a capybara. He and Ben spend an afternoon in the library trying to figure out what she even is.
Ben has a panda, and he spends years being embarrassed, and telling himself he isn’t because she’s a part of him and he loves her. But Bev tells him she thinks his daemon is the cutest thing, and suits him perfectly, and it doesn’t fix everything, but it helps.
Stan has a merlin. They’re still superstitious about people with bird daemons, even after all this time, but Stan doesn’t care. He’s a fucking loser, and he always will be.
Bill has a European badger and she doesn't like to talk to others outside the Losers, but she’ll shriek at anyone who makes fun of Bill’s stutter until they stop.
Richie has a mongoose and when people yell things at him in school, he takes heart in the fact that is daemon is impervious to venom, pretends that he too is impervious to the bile people spit at him.
Bev settled first, though none of them know it. The form her deamon took when she fought her father was the settling, but as she got caught in the deadlights so soon after, none of them noticed.
Richie settled last, because even after fighting Pennywise, he was still hiding from a part of himself.
They all touch one another’s daemons more than anyone in Derry would find acceptable. It’s never something they talk about, but sometimes they’ll lie on the floor of the clubhouse in a pile, limbs so tangled up it hardly matters who is who and which daemon belongs to whom.
Richie’s daemon winds around Eddie’s neck during a panic attack, and Stan’s merlin preen’s Bev’s hair as it grows out. Bill’s daemon will lean heavy on Mike’s legs when they sit in the clubhouse, and Stan will often lean against Eddie’s lion, because it’s not like anyone else is getting near the hammock situation. Richie play fights with Bev’s daemon, pretending he is a brave knight slaying a dragon to rescue her, and usually faking his own death in the attempt. Ben’s daemon will climb into Bill’s lap, and he strokes her fur until they both fall asleep. Mike’s daemon nudges up against Ben’s hand as he reads, demanding pets and attention until Ben can be drawn back into the conversation.
Eddie’s mom has a kangaroo daemon, and she often laments that his daemon has never been interested in the same form. She doesn’t like how big the lion is, how flashy. It’s only afterwards, after It, that Eddie realizes she’d wanted him to settle with a small daemon, small enough to tuck away in her daemon’s pouch and hold on forever.
After Neibolt, as they stand in a field and make a blood oath, none of them are paying attention, none of them notice, how all of their daemons, even Bev’s, shifting after settling, take the form of a turtle. Before they all settle for good, a turtle is that last form they take before that last one.
It’s rare for a daemon to change after it’s settled, but after they leave Derry, all their daemon’s begin to shift again within the year. The Losers might have been concerned--if they had remembered they’d ever settled in the first place.
