THE LOSERS’ CANON PLAYLISTS

Right, so, the IT cast made playlists for their characters and I’m fucking losing it.

EDDIE: Just- the gayest playlist ever made. I can’t even begin to explain how gay this is. And fuck stereotypes man but what straight person has Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, Africa AND Holding Out For a Hero?? ALSO LET’S HEAR IT FOR THE BOY???? WE GET IT EDDIE YOU’RE IN LOVE WITH A JACKASS BUT TONE IT DOWN. CHILL. There also is I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight and, uh forever young... So... still trying to deal with THAT.

RICHIE: All I have to say about this is that Lovesong by The Cure is in it. Also there’s Africa and Take on Me. R E P R E S S I O N is spelled in capital letters all over this fucking thing. 

BEVERLY: Such a bad bitch playlist omg guys. There’s a LOT of different stuff, from Blondie to The Cure to The Police to The Smiths. Immaculate vibes, honestly.

STAN: So, uhm, mh. I’m conflicted. It’s good, it’s great actually, and it has a ton of songs in common with the others which is headcanon fuel. But yeah, Forever Young is here too and that makes me want to eat sand or something. Yeah anyways, rickroll warning, apparently Stan listens to Rick Astley.

MIKE: Now this? This is pure gold. Micheal Jackson, Prince and even some Queen! Though I should mention that there’s also Living For The City by Stevie Wonder which uh, made me cry a little bit. But that aside it’s great!! 10/10

BEN: This is exactly what you’d expect. Pop. New Kids on the Block, Wham and Billy Joel. Also Don’t you want me and What I Like About You, massive Benverly energy he’s so soft I love him :(((

BILL: good god. I could summarize this with something like, idk, five consecutive minutes of  inhuman screeching, but idk how to type that, so I’ll just say: Life on Mars, Perfect Day  and Your Song. I’m not crying, you are.

and we’ve reached the end! this was a monster of a playlist (exactly 100 songs right now, holy shit), but reddie deserves that. thank you so much for listening to these and they will def continue to be updated as I listen to even more songs. someday maybe I’ll post the multi-tabbed excel spreadsheets that organized this playlists by seven different categories, each with varied tags, but that seems like overkill.
