The soundtrack to It is so underrated. Like Blood Oath, Beverly, and Kiss are such good pieces that it makes me forget the movie is about a murderous child eating clown whenever I listen to them.

IT 1990 v.s. IT 2017: Soundtrack

So I’ve taken to listening to movie soundtracks while I do school and other work, and after watching the 1990 IT I noticed that some of the piano pieces are actually really similar. I could argue that they’re almost exactly the same, too. I really appreciate this because it’s a sort of throwback. The recurring piano piece throughout both movies is something I really appreciate because (1) it’s actually really pretty and (2) it ties the two together and sort of holds on to the past. I have always loved music, and realising this as I listen to the IT soundtracks makes me really happy.
