i think it's really funny when trfs are like "well there's less trans men in lgbtq+ history, they didn't do as much, they're not as important, they never faced what we did!"
like, babes. let's use our thinking caps.
why might ftm men be underrepresented historically. let's think about that for a little bit. let's think about that.
and no, this isn't misgendering trans men. this is just acknowledging that they are trans. being trans means something. and for trans men, it means that they grew up seen as women and had feminine social norms impressed upon them. and historically, that meant being literal property, not being in control of one's body, and being ignored. why might that affect the rates of transmasculinity?
i know. do you?
cannot stress this enough good boy (2025) is not just a ghost story from the pov of a dog, it's a horror story About being a dog. it's about being small and helpless and in many ways useless. it's about having no idea what the hell is going on but also knowing there's danger before anyone else does and everyone just laughing and rolling their eyes. it's about separation anxiety and forboding smells and having no idea where your loved ones are when you can't see or hear them. it's about being completely unable to express ideas complex enough to warn anyone of anything, even when you know something is wrong. there is such effective horror to be found in a protagonist who cannot call for help because he simply does not know that such a thing is possible. it's good. it's good horror. it's good dog horror.
“omg this episode was so lore packed”

jeremy fragrance is a twin peaks character they forgot to write and has broken containment into the real world
imagine being someone defined entirely by a purpose and a job. you are meant to quite literally stave off the end of the world and ensure that humanity doesn't suffer a long, slow, painful, and most of all, cold death. you've had to exactingly prune yourself of things you cannot afford to keep. you are less than human in your mind. you are more than human in your responsibilities.
imagine something devastating happens. despite all of your efforts to align every asset available to you in order to just pull off the greatest feat in human history, your plans are splintering apart. it could be your fault, you will worry about that when the phone stops ringing and when the remains of the research lab can be swept away. the pressure is unbearable.
you have exactly one out left. the manifest of coma resistant crew members says there's more, but the only real option is right there on project personnel. your signature is on every line, but his direction formed its earliest phases. he has studied astrophage inside and out. you know him even better.
your last resort can't even look at you when he says he can't do it. he says you can't talk him into it. his walls fortify when he's asked to give up all that he has - he cannot prune himself like you have.
he can't afford to keep a classroom and a bike, but holds onto them. he won't be able to hold onto his life when he gets old and the weather turns dire. he would watch it happen and know he did not do everything he could have.
he refuses to sacrifice what you already have. you are sorry. you are really not.
you are eva stratt. you know what you have to do.
It's true it turned me bisexual
