my opinions on each dragon quest 11 character that i remember because its the ninth anniversary of the game today
Luminary/Eleven - the closest example i have is elijah about sydney from chnt because i would in fact start a cult about him, but even then i'd argue im crazier. hes the most perfect, beautiful, amazing, majestic, jawdropping guy ever. mwah mwah mwah love u eleven <333
Veronica - shes like an annoying little cousin you argue with the whole time at their house and then you cry on the train back beacuse you miss her. to me.
Serena - OH SERENA.............. :(((((((((((((( love her so much....... little me when i first got this game was genuinely heartbroken over her storyline and had to put the game down.
Sylvando - no wonder she's seen as so inspirational, he inspired ME to start doing theatre bro anyway my nonbinary/genderfluid goat
Jade - she deserved such a better writing team than she got... i am also slightly scared of her but whatever we're ignoring that
Rab - do you understand how excited i got seeing a scottish character as a main character in a game as a scot myself, who as a result made it canon that my favourite character in the game was also scottish, and then subsequently ripped my heart out with his story in act 2. agh im in pain
Hendrik - i think my hatred of the police and the law and the royals stunts how much i could like him, but i do still think he's well written and ill ALWAYS fuck with middle aged toxic yaoi
Japser - evil twink that destroyed my life (i know hes not a twink but its for the sake of arguement roll with it)
Amber - total sweetheart. we got like barely any content about her but from her appearances, shes a lovely woman who id talk to on the bus.
Gemma - i think she couldve been better, but because shes in the game for like two hours so i honestly couldnt care less
King Carnelian - bitch ass motherfucker. i hate the monarchy idc
Price Faris - i still hate the monarchy. whimpy little bitch.
Dave - oh hey its one of sylvs many husbands. hes cool ig? idk i dont really remember much about him
Derk - complicated.......... i like him a little but i also want to murder him with my bare hands...
Eleanor - i like her!! i wish we got more content but she seems cool
Queen Frysabel - LETS GO LESBIANS!!!
Krystalinda - LETS GO LESBIANS!!!
Mia - *the only response you get is indistinct crying* (i like her a lot. shes my kid and my second favourite in the whole game)
Vince - i want to mutilate him.
Michelle - her story makes me so sad. girl same i would wait that long too..
Grand Master Pang - im scared of her.......... :( dont hurt me tall lady...
Snorri - only remembered him because i was rereading a fanfic where hes background relevant. that tells you everything you need to know.
Erdwin - automatically have to like him because hes the reason my husband/boyfriend/loml exists, but other than that i dont hold strong feelings.
Drustan - hope he dies because of those fuckass trials i hate. i shouldnt have to go through the 7 layers of hell just to get luminerik endgame fuck you.
Serenica - deserved better as many of the female characters in this game do, but i do hate the tower of time so she gets points off for that...
Morcant - i like his seer form, but other than that i dont really care. thanks for making the main party of the game happen though!
